  1. Just break even on Reid, get rid. Nothing personal but he's just a body in the way of the encouraging crop of young wide players players we have. Ayew next
  2. Alves played well for Cardiff last season despite how bad they were. Thomas was thrown in at the deep in the PL and Aluko looks like he has better attributes than Thomas did at that age. If Monga looks as good as he might be, even now, then he should start as many games as he can. We don't really have any natural forward thinking 8s so if Page can add something nobody else does then why shouldn't he start. I've said similar before but if we had a 18 year old Messi on our books he'd have to prove himself on loan at Walsall first - according to some on FT
  3. Think this is a bit outdated tbh. It’s not as if Fatawu was kicked to bits the other year.
  4. Estrella Galicia is far better
  5. It's a bit of a leap and secondary to the other point but he probably had the biggest playing differential between Maresca and Cooper. It's a fans forum. If we could only post about facts without making assumptions then there would be 1/20th of the threads on here. Sometimes it's completely vapid and baseless but gut feeling and intuition are occasionally right.
  6. Refusing to stay one day week at the training ground (with excellent lodgings) wasn't reasonable, the "I miss u Enzo", paraphrased, wasn't professional. Winks has a year left on his deal and he's not up to in the PL we should sell whilst we can recoup a small fee.
  7. Distinctive players, kits, games, grounds, sponsors punctuate it all so clearly too.
  8. Cif-u-en-tes! Better than all the rest Better than anyone Anyone we’ve ever met
  9. Calm’s record as a manager is pretty good in the lower leagues in Spain.
  10. Fairly optimistic about this. Doesn’t seem dogmatically wedded to short passing but prefers it which is sensible. Sort of a poor man’s Corberan. Lets hope he can manage upwards to get some transfer dealings in motion.
  11. Money the club would never be able to payback, it's good that he did it but it's never been an upfront cash investment. The fact he's had to convert the debt to equity is because of his own **** ups - but yes ultimately a good thing he did.
  12. Way overperformed his xg but in a small sample Profile https://fbref.com/en/players/55388631/Rayan-Kolli Minutes were mostly upfront but some on the wing. https://fbref.com/en/players/55388631/matchlogs/2024-2025/Rayan-Kolli-Match-Logs Provided he's not too expensive I'd be up for this
  13. Culturally everything is sclerotic. We were happy to appoint Glover even though he was on gardening leave. By the time he was in post on the 1st of Jan we signed our first player (Kristiansen, big overpay) about three weeks later. There’s no urgency to anything because of any combination of: - Unclear processes - Unclear hierarchy - Incomepetence - Lack of accountability - Too much responsibility for individuals - No delegation What good has Top actually done since he took over? Whats improved? Whats changed for the better. F uck all and he’s a parasitic influence on the club
  14. I feel like this could be what finishes King Power off here
  15. Trestellar were more legit
  16. Blue and white, mate of mine works in the club shop
  17. DM your address, what the existing panels are and explain which roof face the additional panels are going on
  18. It's normally quite straightforward, sometimes it can prohibitively expensive if it requires scaffolding but it all depends on your home. Happy to play around on OpenSolar and see what the additional 4 panels will generate if you'd like (no obligation either way)
  19. It's amazing the propensity we have for doing one thing at a time. Rudkin and Top are the bottlenecks and they seem almost aloof
  20. Solid championship player but we ought to be setting our sights on Fatawu type players who are great signings with upside in both the first and second tiers. Plus he's 28 so he'll be her until leaves on a free. He's a Wasserman client though so it lands in Rudkin's inbox and he probably ignores what the scouts and analysts find.
  21. He's had an elite education (at a Catholic school iirc - bizarrely), he'd been a director for 7 years, worked with some very good managers and people. He's had all the tools, levers and experiences available to him - he's just not very competent and worse than that he's disinterested. They were all (Vichai included) very lucky Nigel Pearson had a vision to appoint excellent members of staff that built legacy systems that could continue, for a time, without the people that put them in place. Walsh as assistant manager and head of recruitment is a genius bit of alignment that I'm surprised hasn't been repeated elsewhere. Because they had such rare, altruistic and forward thinking manager (he was basically the DoF as Norcroft said on BSLB) it completely atrophied - if they ever had it - the ownership and directors ability to put people in place.
  22. "He didn't want to be in this position" Surely that was the idea all along, Vichai was 52 when he bought the club, the long term plan would have been for Top to takeover as chairman - you'd have thought. If he didn't want to be in this position at all, either sell up or appoint better directors so he barely had to think about the club at all. Stringing out this ownership and running the club into the ground in memorandum of his dad is not any good for anybody.
  23. Needlessly grouchy response. I was replying to somebody else pointing out that their opinion isn’t uncommon and provided an example supporting it.
