How Much Does Seagrave Cost Per Year
coalvillefox replied to Long Eaton Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Because it's the best, womens only, training facility in the country and the club are immensely proud of that. It is also one of the standout reasons why some of the best young girls around choose Leicester when decide which academy they want to play for. It's not always all about the here and now, it's building something for the future also. I fully appreciate that Seagrave itself is also an incredible facility but it would feel like the women/girls just got shoved on an unused pitch somewhere in the far corner, at Belvoir Drive the whole facility is theirs. -
Realistic Managerial Replacements
coalvillefox replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
I imagine even after all these years he's still got a longer throw than Luke Thomas -
My worry is that if we don't get a manager in who can deal with big personalities such as Jordan Ayew, he will force his way into the team for the rest of the season. I don't think Andy King wanted to deal with the backlash of leaving him out on Saturday and disrupt whatever harmony he has been able to bring in the short time he was in charge. We all know what a moody, stroppy character he is, we need a manager who is bigger than Ayew to put him in his place.

If the website actually worked and the articles where of good content then I'd imagine some people might be tempted. Sadly that seems miles off at the moment.

Did we ever find out what the fee was?

Does anyone have a list of left backs to have made their debut for Leicester AFTER Luke Thomas made his. I'm just curious to know who has come and gone in that time and who might have been playing their instead if we had kept hold of them

Yep I'm going Nomads too, was 50/50 about going to Forest but this has clinched it for me

Is Alan Shearer's knee any good these days? -
At what point to we stop shipping the likes of Braybrooke, Alves and Nelson out on loan and start giving them a chance in the first team? Or is academy football just a money making machine these days in which we get them enough experience through loans in order for them to have a value and then we ship them off for pure profit?

Who starts from this current squad in the Championship next season? Stolarcyzk Coulibaly Okoli (New CB) Thomas Skipp (New CDM) Mcateer (New CAM) Mavididi Vardy I reckon everyone else will have been sold or contract ran down and left

This goes some way to explaining why Coady lost his place despite us defending the best we have all season, with him in the team. There's clearly been a falling out between Coady and RVN and they are happy to see the back of each other

Patrick Wimmer - enquired about loan, Wolfsburg only want to sell
coalvillefox replied to Lambert09's topic in Transfer Talk
Loan with an obligation to buy if we stay up, makes everyone happy. He gets to impress in the Premier League and if it goes well, he stays. If it ends badly, he moves on in the Summer to a more suitable destination thats not the Championship -
So he can leave for another club whenever he wants and we have no say in the matter? How can that be right or even fair?

He played last night for the U21 and he was our best player by a mile. All the hype about Will Alves, in my opinion, this kid is already better than Will. He looked electric everytime he received the ball, beat players at will with both speed and strength, it was just a shame those around him couldn't capitilise. If we are able we need to tie him down to a long term contract immediately.

Could he do a job as a target man?

Looks like he enjoyed himself (Photo credit: https://x.com/John_M100)

9 days into the window and we haven't been linked with anyone of note and a potential points deduction looming, what a depressing state we currently find ourselves in

As we have already confirmed that Buonanotte and Edouard are staying put, this one can be closed

Ruud awakening for the Premier League!
coalvillefox replied to DJ Barry Hammond's topic in Leicester City Forum
It's like we expect RVN to be standing there with his box of essentials while he waits for Cooper to clear his desk. Things don't work that quickly in the real world and slating the club for not getting it done quickly just shows a clear lack of understanding of how complex these deals are. Especially when there are multiple people involved such as his coaching staff.
