Someone decided to pull out across two lanes at the LFE northbound merge yesterday. Very luckily my reaction to swerving was quick else me and the wife would have been slammed into the barrier and most likely seriously injured, if not killed at that speed. The worst part is there was no one ahead of him in the lane he was in. He just wanted the 'fast lane'. Driving is definitely getting worse from what I see day to day.

Ticked off a few pubs in London over the weekend including some I've been meaning to do for a while. Prospect of Whitby, The Fitzrovia, The Ship (Bank), The Grapes (Limehouse), Stags Head for the City game and I can't remember the name of the one directly right outside Westminster station. The Observatory in the O2 was surprisingly good too, when in reality it should have felt like somewhere trying to be an authentic pub. It was just convenient at the time.

Also, even if you take away the trophies we won, if what has happened to us as an established PL club for 10 years, happened to say Brighton, Bournemouth, Brentford etc in L1 and their fans were pissed off, it would be completely understandable and people would question how it's happened despite them being more like L1 clubs traditionally. People use the trophies as a way of defending the mess, like because we did well we shouldn't complain. It doesn't make any sense.

The only result I don't expect is us to batter them. Anything else goes.

He's been really poor for a while, but he would benefit from actually playing and ironing out his mistakes in a more suited system for him. Being back up to someone who is going to knock your confidence even more isn't ideal either. We'd probably be better off just cashing in at this point and letting him play under a manager that gets him back to basics.

Exactly. The odd frantic run or tackle doesn't mean he doesn't hide. He hides by not taking responsibility when in possession. Whatever the circumstances, he plays a safe 2 yard pass at best. Not hiding would be to drive with the ball and actually look interested in creating something, or helping to get the more creative players involved. He's a nob and he knows he can get away with it and has got away with it for longer than he should, or would have been allowed at any other club in the country. *Would still play over Skipp.
