So who does a new manager pick? Or...are you saying the players are fine, and it's his lack of ability to motivate and/or his poor tactics? I think it's the players, most of whom are trying, (a few aren't) who are simply not good enough.

I can guarantee we bring a new owner in, (and I'm not saying we shouldn't), and we bring a new manager in, (again not saying we shouldn't). If we then lost our next four games, there'd be some wanting something doing. They'd already be questioning manager X. We are so poor. Some don't get it. Some actually wanted us to go up this season! Something this broken will take a lot of time. Trouble is the post 2016 lot demand it to happen immediately.

I asked what a new owner could do. You haven't answered. I know how we've got where we are. It will take time. It will take contracts to run out. It will take youth players to develop. I suspect your average fan is wanting something quicker. Your the new manager Monday. Name me your starting eleven. Your the new owner. What can you change immediately, allowing for contractual obligations?

Is this all down to money? What are we expecting a new owner to do? New owner comes in Monday. Who plays up front next game? Same with a new manager. I'm not defending the owner/board, or the manager. I just need someone to explain how new owner and manager changes things.

That's more like it 👏. Not sure about Skipp, but at least you're on the right lines. Everyone slates the team on the post match thread, then suggests broadly the same team for the next match. We need some fresh faces; shake things up.

We didn't get rid of the players we needed to. That was probably because we couldn't with the contracts still running, and no-one wanting them. We'll never move forward until they go. So disappointing they aren't benched though, and youngsters given a chance, as I thought would happen. Marti must take some blame because of that. Needs a settled team as well. Too much swapping and changing of personnel.

The success of the window can only be judged on how the new players perform. I'd have rather sold BEK, and I'm surprised we didn't accept the offer from Real Betis for Daka, but I guess it depends what it was. Also maybe Alves should have stayed. Not a disaster though. Edit: Also depends on the deals themselves which we just don't know. For example, we might not be paying any of Will Alves' wages, or we might be paying 50%.
