I'd agree with the suggestion of a witch hunt. We're no longer in the PL, so why should it matter to them? It's like they're still smarting over us avoiding the earlier punishment. Yet Chelsea, Man. City, nothing ever materialises.

How come the Premier League can get involved when the alleged offence was in the Championship?

If it's another Championship club, it just seems madness to me. May as well stay with us. Another Championship club definitely says it was down to money, with the club saying we can no longer afford you. Has to be Premier League, Scotland or abroad surely.

Very surprised at some of the comments on here. Yes it's been awful this season, and the board can do one, but if we can't put that to one side, for one game, for a player that's given us everything, and stayed loyal when many of his teammates tried to better themselves by moving on, then it's very poor. We wouldn't have won the league without him. WON THE LEAGUE. I'll be cheering him on, (not the board) "cringefest" or not.

How many does he need? Wiki has contradictions. Leicester all time goal scorers says 180 for league, but Jamie Vardy individual says 181. 500 appearances would also be good. Five needed for 500? A real shame this season has damaged his goals per game stats.

Trouble is it could always be debated as to whether he's done an awful job or not. In other jobs, there's more direct accountability. Here, he's sending guys out to a job for him. I'm not sure anyone would get a Premier League quality tune out of this current group. I still think he needs to go.

I'm concerned he sees the two penalties differently to everyone else. The first was clear cut, and Thomas's more debatable. RVN sees it the other way round, or even the first definitely not being one 🤷‍♂️. One thing in isolation, but again it questions his general reading of the game, notwithstanding his many years playing.

Agree. Not just these pens. So many decisions where we'll pass to a person who's being well marked, or a soft wayward pass on the edge of the box, or a silly foul in a dangerous position, or an unnecessary yellow card. So many 💩

All players want to play at the top level, especially when you've missed out. I really hope he stays, but I don't think it's a given. If a Palace or Everton came in for him, why not? It's not as though he's a Leicester lad. No real elegance. I'm hopeful that with the injury, he's under the radar, but Directors Of Football, (well most) are cleverer than that. One problem.....we can't defend. So, the second approach; we treat today as though it's the last game of the season and we have to win to stay up. Play two in attack and throw caution to the wind. Got to really fight though. The message sent to Wolves would be huge; we've won at Chelsea, and we're only one win away. Got to be this hasn't it? 👊
