Ruud van Nistelrooy - New Manager - Official
StonyFox replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
I liked him and wanted him to do well, but tonight was the last straw. Playing that same front 3 game after game despite not scoring goals is ridiculous. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results -
Keep going to games after mathematical relegation?

I can barely be bothered to go now -
I can only go on personal experience, but the club swapped my dad's ST (OAP) for another family member (adult) in the summer due to him not being able to go for medical reasons. It might be worth them calling or raising it with the ticket office manager.
-
Trying to avoid empty seats! I'm not going, but doubt I'll resell either, particularly as it's not even sold out.
-
Yes we over paid, but even by 2029 he'll still be younger (29) than Ayew, decordova-ried, coady, vestergaard and ward are now. He'll suit us fine in the championship, which is where we'll be for most of the seasons from now until 2029.
-
Looking at this we'll be hamstrung by contracts until 2026 when we can get rid of a lot of wage expenditure. I can't see Faes and Ndidi staying until 2027, and hermansen will go to Chelsea, so we should tie down stolarczyk now. So 18 months of pain until we can start a bit of a rebuild. Vestergaard to 2027 still makes my blood boil!
-
He doesn't get to change now, he's already made his choice and has to live with it 😂
-
I'm definitely considering this, and no way am I letting them resell my seat. But the majority of the fans will want to see arsenal coming to play little Leicester
-
It has been a huge missed opportunity for the club. With the success we've had in recent years, we should be a solid premier league side around 8th-12th, but the club is rotten to the core. From top to bottom there is an air of arrogance and delusion that we are doing well. Failure is accepted from the ownership down to the players. We will go down this season and we won't come straight back up. Our squad will only be good enough for top 8-10 at best next season in the championship, and we'll still have the highest wage bill. The thing that bothers me the most is my 6 yo is starting to really get into football, and he's going to live through supporting a shite club for a few years to come, my only hope is that it might be better by the time he's a teenager!
-
Looking forward to the Ruud press conference, if he's still here by then!
-
They'll say "we worked hard to bring players in, but the deals weren't right" In reality, I don't think they had any intention of bringing anyone in other than Woyo, who Maresca would have suggested when he was here..
-
I've got a season ticket and I'm thinking the same! Albeit not as much of a financial hit for them. Certainly not spending money in the ground or shop.
-
If you had a good DoF, they could influence Top to make the right decisions. But I can't see Rudkin going whilst King Power are owners, so it's likely to take both of them going for real change.
-
In - Rudkins nephew as sporting director Out - cash spent by the board to celebrate what a great transfer window they've had
-
The manager to walk out due to lack of support and lies from the board, and the fans to protest.
-
Vestergaard was nowhere near the half way line for their first two goals and Faes was all over the place for third. Ruud was the wrong appointment for our situation, but these are not youth team defenders thrown into the team, they are supposedly international defenders, but they just can't defend.

How the hell are we not rock bottom. The other teams must be awful, because we are absolute dog shit! -
I doubt any manager could improve our defence. The goals today are unforgivable. I never want to see Faes or vestergaard play for us again
-
It's what happens when you have defenders who don't like to defend. Vestergaard and Faes think they're too good to defend and would rather piss about making 50+ passes every game

It looks like a striker who can offer us something different by coming deep and holding the ball up, although I'd prefer it if they were 4-5 years younger. Apparently has the same agent as Stephy.
-
I've stupidly agreed to go to this game, sitting in the home end. It'll be interesting to hear their reaction to "we want Rudkin out!"
-
He wanted out in the summer but didn't get any offers. If he wants to go, I'd sell him. Seems to be increasingly injury prone and is probably one of the top earners, and as it's highly likely we're going down, cash in now.
-
After a grandparent spent over £100 on a kit for a 6 year old, I'm going to be ordering from china for the foreseeable future. I'll also not be spending anything in the ground. Beer in the pub before hand, and maybe a pie from Morrisons!
-
I don't believe them. They want the fans to think they are working on bringing 5 in, but in reality, they only want 1 or 2 more.
