Any “interim” should be able to organize play better. But that is just a Band-Aid. What does Kingy bring that can force a culture change, and have a strong voice in bringing more suitable players in? The only chance this club has, is getting someone with the reputation, stones and tenacity to hold his ground and shoot Rudkin out of that chair. That’s not Kingy, and probably not anyone else under this regime. Except for a certain ex-manager who is probably too ill, and has served the club too well, to deserve this godawful job.

WHERE DID THAT COME FROM

It’s more a player trading scheme than a football club. The coach’s job is to play expensive kids so some will turn into even more expensive star players. Without running up high mileage on valuable, injury-prone legs. Then sell them ASAP, rinse, repeat. The club dictate who plays and how many minutes. Seems like they are happy to cycle through managers, and their fans should be well used to that.

Most of my Buckeye friends were really concerned about OSU's weaknesses (o-line, immobile QB) going against the U's great strength (pass rush). And so it came to pass. If only Ryan Day could see what the entire fanbase can't miss... Going into the Rose Bowl, the "bye" teams are 0-6 in this playoff format and have mostly had their clocks cleaned. I expect they will expand the playoff to 16 teams and eliminate the byes.
