Ha! OK, maybe .... but I still don't think he was quite as bad as some make out. He had some quality.

No where near as bad as the Pack would have us believe, I just think his style wasn't particularly suited to the English league. Hope it goes well for him in Turkey.

I remember hearing one of our coaches on the radio 3-4 years ago talking about free-kicks and corners. He said the best ones are with the flatest lowest trajectory ie they come in as low as possible over the defenders head. I thought at the time that this is all well and good, except that whilst trying to achieve this, 9 out of 10 balls don't actually clear the defender! Surely it's better to get more balls into a dangerous goal scoring area regardless of how fast or low they're travelling?

Most players can score a long range screamer now and again, but not many could score a goal like Vardy's, so his wins it for me.

Definitely looks fitter and more athletic. And he's got the sort of name that the pundits and football hipsters love, so it won't be long before they all start saying he's the best midfielder in the league.

Hopefully we'll now find out if this lad is any good. So many conflicting reports and opinions on him.

I like the look of him from that video. Skillfull, tenacious and tries to make things happen. Reminds me of Knockaert a bit, but with a bit of pace. Doubt he'd be a world-beater but would definitely gives us some excitement.
