  1. Incredible. Also regarding the penalty, 'If I'm being honest, I've seen them given'. Well as you're being paid as a professional pundit how about actually being honest then and say it was a penalty!
  2. Much better second half, but still worrying overall.
  3. Where's our attacking play gone?! This seems to be the norm now, which is really really worrying.
  4. His pre-match interview really irked me. When asked about our recent dip in form he said that it's normal and all teams do it. This is giving the players an excuse and a get-out for not performing, almost as if a slump in form is unavoidable. I bet Klopp isn't saying this to his players..
  5. We should have kept Nacho in the team 6-7 games ago when he was playing well, linking up with Vardy and the other attacking players, and scoring and assisting. It was giving us a new dynamic and was giving our other players different options. It was freshening us up at just the right time, but instead we took him out and went back to looking a bit stale and uncreative.
  6. I thought his whole interview was a bit odd, including the part about Vardy's injury which he seemed unclear about and was making up on the spot.
  7. Iheanacho! About time too.
  8. Using a digital camera to photograph your old photos works well, it's how they copy artwork these days. I've had good results myself just by using my phone camera. There's also Apps like 'Photoscan' which turn your phone into a scanner. Could be useful for anyone wanting to make digital copies to keep them safe.
  9. It all changed when Gazza started crying in 1990. The girls loved it and the marketing men loved it even more. This is when they realised football could appeal to the whole family and they started to repackage it as mainstream entertainment. Everything else has followed from that.
  10. Hi. Do you know about 'Creative Commons' images which are licenced for reuse? Almost all images found on Wikipedia are available to use under a creative commons licence ie free of copyright, as long as you attribute the author (you can put all attributes in an appendix at the back of your book). As an example I just searched Wiki for Leicester City FC and found this photo of Robbie Savage v Barnsley from 97-98. Click on the 'More Details' button and it will give you the terms of the licence. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leicester_City_F.C.#/media/File:Robbie_Savage.jpg Flikr can also be a good source for CC images.
  11. I rarely watch BBC TV but I really love their website. There's just so much good stuff on there. It's not just about news, it's more like a magazine with my favourite sections being on tech, science, art, culture, music. There's plenty of other topics too. It's probably my favourite website and I'm happy to pay what I see as a subscription. I do think it's a bit high though, and I agree with the earlier poster that it shouldn't be a place for high-earners.
  12. That Fulham game was my first big away day. I'd been to a few others that season and the one before, but nothing with a following like that. My memory says it was on Match of the Day but I must be wrong about that as it was a second division match, so maybe it was the Sunday ITV version. Was it called 'Star Soccer'? Whatever channel it was on I can just about remember seeing myself behind the goal. I was easy to spot as I always wore an Italian army jacket in them days, very cool I think!
  13. I'm a bit mixed on him. He has some obvious weaknesses that do cost us points, and it's an area which we could improve on if we brought someone else in. But he's such a strong character at the club, and is an expert at ingratiating himself with the owners and management team, that I can't help but feel there could be problems behind the scenes if we decided to replace him. Ideal scenario for me would be for Man Utd to come in for him as their 2nd keeper, and we could let him leave with our blessing.
  14. Yeah I think it's quite poor management not getting him in the starting 11, whether in place of Vardy or with a slight change in system to play them both. He's doing the business, probably our most in-form attacking player and yet he's still sitting on the bench. He should have been in the team 2 or 3 games ago.
  15. A game of 2 goalies. Theirs won it for them, ours could have saved it for us, but didn't.
  16. Looking forward to seeing these two.
  17. I love it when the games are moved. It frees up Saturday afternoons to do other things.
  18. He looks like Dwayne Dibley.
  19. Yep. Should have happened 2 games ago. Play an in-form player and freshen up the system at the same time. Like you say, Vardy's far too isolated and I think that's our main problem at the moment.
  20. Plus a clear handball by Mee which wasn't given, no idea why VAR didn't give a penalty for that.
  21. I think it's time for this now. Nacho's our best threat going forward at the mo and is offering way more than some of the others. Give him and Vardy a run of games together. And Gray too as someone else has said. Freshen it up a bit and play to our current strengths ie Nacho and Vardy.
  22. Iheanacho looks our best attacking player at the mo, so I think we have to give him and Vardy a few games together. A proper run with a change of formation and tactics to freshen it up.
  23. Definitely get Gray on, get him running at them a bit. Any one of Barnes, Perez or Maddison to come off.
  24. I once booked a flight to Singapore with Brunei Airlines, not realising that they don't serve alcohol on the flight. This was ok with me as I don't like drinking on a plane, but the bloke next to me came prepared and whipped out a bottle of whiskey as soon as we took off! I had to have a couple of beers when we stopped in Dubai just to deaden the pain of being stuck next to him!
  25. Agree with both parts of this.
