  1. Same thing happened to my lad last year, he wanted to do both Art & Graphics, he's good at art & likes drawing, but he was only allowed to pick one because Graphics & Art were both classed as "art subjects" , he chose Graphics, but I think Art would have combined well with the Graphics. He had to pick something else, settled on Media in the end. This wasn't a timetable issue, just a school decision, just seems a bit odd when they're good at something not to let them do it.
  2. It's £9 for non-members, £5 for members. Mine showed £9 at first but when I linked it to my son's name it changed to £5.
  3. Got to agree, 2 or 3 times the ball vanished behind the penalty taker in his follow through & i couldn't see it until it hit the net.
  4. Yes, sorry that's what i meant , only I didn't word it very well. Should have said 1 box, instead of 1 test.
  5. Where the original mural was, has now been converted into flats , I think it's the back of what was Marks Electrical. King & Vardy are still there because they're on the side wall.
  6. Saw in the news today, government have said you can only order a test every 3 days now, as opposed to every day, after concerns over people stockpiling them.
  7. As a postman delivering these tests, we have certainly seen an increase in the number we are delivering since rumours of the end of the free tests began a couple of weeks ago. Iv'e no doubt that they'll increase even more between now & April the first, which is understandable, but some people are just taking advantage. I deliver tests to the same addresses 3 or 4 times a week, one address i deliver to has 4 tests( 1 each for parent & 1 for the 2 kids) every other day , with 7 tests in each pack that's about 80 tests a week, for a family of 4!, this has been ongoing for about 6 weeks. I've no doubt these will end up on Ebay after April 1st. Would it not make more sense for the government to say you can only order 1 pack ( 7 tests ) a week , instead of being able to order a pack each day.
  8. That seems like it could be the same one as my first game, November 1972, 2-2 draw, Samuels & Farrington the scorers. Followed in the next game with a Frank Worthington hat- trick in a 3-1 win over West Brom.
  9. Has someone as just said Clifton is the nearest, only about a 5 minute drive on the A453 from junction 25 of the M1. I used this site ( it's a big pak & ride ) when I went to the cricket at Trent Bridge. We got off at Meadows Embankment & it was a 15-20 minute walk along the river to Trent Bridge. But you can stay on 2 more stops until Nottingham Station, I'm not sure if that's any nearer the City Ground. We just got a day ticket which was about £4.50 for me & £2.50 for my lad. It was dead easy & beat driving in to the city.
  10. 2 sensational saves, would have lost without him.
  11. Yes ,you do get a home priority point. This goes on general sale tomorrow. Remember it's half-term week, so maybe he could get to go.
  12. Exactly the same reaction as my lad, fortunately the person sitting in it had vacated it about 3 minutes before. It would have been belted with the clapper, but he'd already launched that in anger when the equaliser went in.
  13. Tigers at home on Saturday.
  14. We ordered just after the shops reopened after lockdown ( Feb/ March) , last year & if my memory is correct they said 12 weeks to delivery & I think it came about a week early.
  15. Bought sofa & chair from their Fosse Park branch, last spring, couldn't fault them. From the salesperson, through to the delivery drivers, everyone was great. Delivery dates & order waiting time was spot on.
  16. True, for the original date they had no Richarlison or Calvert- Lewin. I see Calvert- Lewin makes his comeback tomorrow, so it looks like they'll have both 1st choice forwards playing & we'll have no forwards & no centre-halves.
  17. Sounds a bit like me on boxing day, woke up with sore throat, did a lateral flow which was negative, starting coughing a bit in the afternoon, so did another test which was postitive. PCR next day confimed it. Have now passed it on to the missus. Both of us were trippled jabbed & both wear masks all day at work.
  18. Don't think the new measures come into force until next Wednesday. So today shouldn't be a problem.
  19. He's shocking, runs into trouble, can't beat a man, can' t pass, greedy, loses every 50/50 ball, doesn't track back. If anyone is daft enough to bid £55 million snap their hands off.
  20. 62 left at the minute, look like single seats though.
  21. Because we've played most of the bigger clubs already at home I would think you won't have much of a problem getting tickets for most of the remaining fixtures if you 're on the website at 8am on the dot. For Liverpool on the 28th there's just over 1500 tickets left, they go on sale tomorrow to members with 15+ points. Be ready at 8am on Tuesday for all members, if you want family stand there' s 408 left at the minute.
  22. No P and P1 are no longer family areas, just P2 and P3 now.
  23. What will happen first Lukaku brushing off a couple of half- hearted challenges before smashing it home, or Rudiger scoring with an unmarked header from a set-piece?
  24. No, it's the mint green one, thanks anyway.
