They need to up their goal difference as well. Think a win will take them joint points with Chelsea but they are about 7 goals off. If they're comfortable by half time, which they probably will be, then I don't see how they just sit back on it.

He should be in our starting team for the first game of next season. Pleased for him at the minute. Oxford have had a turn a round since Rowett joined so nice to see him speak of Nelson so highly.

Just had a quick look on their forum, interesting how many of their fans want Maresca out now. Not won an away game since December which is mad for a club like Chelsea.

Aside from winning the league, our two 5th place finishes, FA Cup win and Community Shield win all came after Vichai had died. I think King Power were lucky Pearson wanted to come back. If that not had happened then they'd still throwing silly money around in the Championship. I also think that the whole setup under Pearson was that good that the owners (and managers after) benefited from it. Genuinely without Pearson I think we'd have gone nowhere under King Power anyway.

This season has been shocking but don't forget he finished 5th last season. I'm sure in David Moyes first couple seasons at Everton they were pushing Europe, then in a relegation battle, then the next season pushing Europe again.

It was fine because those players actually performed on the pitch.

Wednesday probably won't finish in the play offs but they're only 5 points. No way he walks away now. Also there has been unrest at Wednesday for the past 5 or 6 seasons, it's not something new.

In some of the defeats we looked awful though. Bristol City and Plymouth stick out in my mind. We didn’t look bothered at Sheffield Wednesday either when we dropped points. I think some are blanking some of the bad parts of last season.

I mean, a couple of times last night the ball went into him and he just lost it as in either an mis control or a bad ball. Agree there is nobody near him though.

I can forgive winning but not scoring, not even looking like scoring, is an embarrassment. We are getting worse with each game, Van Nistelrooy has made us worse than were were and the ownership are a joke for letting this all continue.

Our squad is more in line with Sheffield United's than Luton's. Luton lost a couple of their better players this summer and replaced them with lower league players.

We lost those players so in the Championship did not have them. Aside from KDH we basically have the same squad now as we did when we last went down. Players that look awful in the Premier League looked decent in the Championship and that will happen again when they stay. I'm not going to put "if they stay" because we're stuck with them. Granted we may lose the goalkeeper which would be a big blow.

Cup games are one off games. But it's different over the course of a season. 9 times out of 10 Liverpool do not lose to Plymouth. Cup upsets have always happened, and continue to, but it doesn't necessarily mean the winner of that tie is better than the top flight team they knocked out. Of course we are not immune to bottom half. We are not immune to relegation. But neither will happen in my opinion.

My bet would be on Charlton winning the play offs. Jones did well building Luton up, Edwards finished it off. The competition for promotion in the Championship, League One and League Two is looking good this season.

I'm not going. Fvck that. Another game we will concede without scoring. I'm going 0-3 Newcastle.

Don't know why people laugh at this. Last time we went down I think I was one of few people who said we'd win the league. A lot of people then were posting about relegation to League 1. The quality of the Championship is awful. Sheffield United are nothing special yet in contention with winning the league. Some of the teams towards the lower end of the table have no budget and find it difficult to compete.

We won't get relegated to League One. The lower half of the Championship is horrific. Puel should not be named alongside Taylor either. While Puel's style was boring, he never had us in a relegation battle in fact steered us away from that. I'd have him here now.
