Matt Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 I've been saying I want a Villa win all day but i've just looked at the table, didn't realise how low Villa were/close to being dragged back into the relegation battle, I thought they'd hit a run and flew back up the table abit. Bearing that in mind I think we want a QPR or draw, probably draw really. Catch 22 really, we need to firstly catch QPR but if we are looking at safety we need to catch those outside the relegation zone, Villa being the first team outside the relegation zone. Personally as I keep saying, we are already down, but we gave ourselves a glimmer (A extremely small glimmer) of hope on Saturday, unfortunately results went against us but there is nothing we could do about that, if we follow it up against WBA I might start believing again, but for the moment we are down, i'm not happy about that one bit, but if Villa come down with us it would somewhat soften the blow marginally, I wanna see them ***** down, so QPR or draw for me please.

I am a little conflicted because I think that we are chasing Hull and not Villa and so maybe we should want a Villa win to keep QPR close to us, however, at this stage I don't want anyone within range to move any further away from us hence a slight preference for QPR. hmmm. Maybe I shouldn't be looking so closely at the other games as it might drive me mad.

Anything can and will always happen thats why we all love this game When we were 2-0 down I had belief we'd come back, when it went 3-1 I thought it was all over I must admit, but that was when the season was fresh, we had optimism and since we've seen that we've really been out our depth, not got the quality and struggled, we gave ourselves a very small glimmer of hope on Saturday I admit but I think we've left it too little too late, if we win Saturday I might get some belief back but ultimately it doesn't matter what happens in this game tonight or any other game on Saturday, it's what we do that matters - The game in hand though...

Haydos Posted 7 April 2015 Posted 7 April 2015 We don't really know what's gonna happen over the next few weeks so it's barely worth speculating. Objectively a QPR win is the best results as it leaves 17th place on the lowest amount of points. QPR or draw for me.
