The contribution of the two, not only in terms of how they play but also how they influence others on and off the pitch. A calming influence in the spine of the team. LanguedocFox Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 YPOTY: Matty James just shades it for me over Schlupp, simply because he has grown into a rock alongside Cambiasso. I felt really sorry when he did his ACL, because I could see him getting into the England squad for the Euros in 2016 POTY: has to be Cambiasso - quite simply the best player I have ever seen play for City Goal: Vardy v West Brom: not so much for the quality, although it was good, but because it epitomised everything about the Great Escape. Vardy fought to win the ball from McAuley, chased the ball down and slotted it home from a difficult angle: and then stood banging his chest and saying something like "I'm the fvckin man!" at the City fans. Love him.
