shade Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 no, for one obvious reason that has been overlooked in this thread, the premiership no longer exists.
sylofox Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Bribing officials is illegal!!! Only if you get caught lol
sylofox Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Pearson to become the first ever English manager to win the Premiership. He is the Chosen One. Whats the odd's on that?
6ups 6downs 2 cups Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 Now that FFP rules are being relaxed by Platini you never know!
LanguedocFox Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 It's possible but unlikely, simply because the top three or four teams can and will spend money on bringing in the best players (eg Cambiasso in his prime, Messi, Bale plus ten or twelve more). On the other hand, it does make you wonder what might have been had that rancid twàt Mandaric not eased Pearson out in 2010. Personally, I hope we keep him for the next ten years. After O'Neill left, I saw so much sh!te playing in City shirts for managers who couldn't give a fvck that I love the fact he has made me proud again to be a City fan.
Tom's Pasta Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 You know the saying "stranger things have happened". Yeah well no stranger things have happened

The rancid twat that bought us when we were broke, appointed Pearson in the first place, and sold us to the Thais? I don't like the guy, but credit where credit's due, he left us in a better position than when he bought us.
EnglishOxide Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 All I will say is look to the likes of Athletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund for inspiration. The Premier League is much more competitive than the Spanish and German leagues but it shows that success is possible. I'm not saying we will win the league any time soon but Europa League has to be the target next season. I'll be ecstatic to just crack the top 10, and satisfied with a mid table finish, but there's no point even being here if you are only aiming for mid table. I think Nige shares that same philosophy too tbf. I'm glad he hasn't got the same defeatest mentality of someone like Dyche or Rodgers.
Guest Col city fan Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 I agree with your final sentence. However, my original point was more a comment on the unpleasant way people post, rather than on the content.
hackneyfox Posted 20 May 2015 Posted 20 May 2015 That hackneyfox and the rest of the BR ****** would still want him sacked because a couple of defeats prove he is tactically inept apparently.Yes of course we would. Some people are very idiot.
