Somewhere prepared to pay his wages despite his poor form and attitude. There would be plenty of takers - MLS, China, Qatar, even a club like Monaco.

As for breaking or smashing our record, very much doubt it, Kramaric holds it for what 9m iirc? Balotelli flopped at Liverpool for 16m, they paid AC Milan more than what they bought Balotelli for amazingly. Re-sale value on a shitty season Balotelli had with a Liverpool side who want to get rid after buying Benteke and Ings, i'd say 10m-12m max, potentially the money which would have been used on Austin. Take out the 3m we'll get from Nugent if he goes, i'd say 7-9m isn't bad for a player with the ability of Balotelli. We would however be laughing stocks, have the media scrutinise the deal, scrutinise Ranieri, scrutinise Balotelli - there will be training ground bust-ups, there will be off-field problems because Balotelli just can't help himself. If I was offered Balotelli for 10m right now I personally wouldn't take it. The wages plus the potential issues outweigh his ability and potential sell-on fee profit.

If he did come in I'd get behind him but I've never rated him at the highest level and my gut tells me he isn't the sort of player that would do well outside of the top level. If a miracle happened and he came and got his act together he's definitely got the ability to be class for a team like ours but would need to seriously change his game and his personality from what I can tell.
