No doubt they will big it up with some rubbish like "Intelligent attacking - In FIFA 17, your players will make more clever runs in order to gain an advantage on defenders". We'll all fall for it and basically it will be the same as FIFA 13.
DB11 Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 It is annoying when you play a forward pass your attacker remains static whilst the defender gets in front of you and takes the ball, or how almost any sideways pass further than 20 yards gets intercepted by an opponent that isn't even on the screen at the time of playing the pass.

And no it's not me being an idiot, I've played fifa for many years, but literally around 7 out of 10 simple passes would just go straight to the opposition. Unbelievably frustrating. And the pace being slowed right down is stupid. I played with city using 3 5 2 with dyer and schlupp on the wings, mahrez in the hole and vardy/kramaric up front. That team screams pace on the counter attack, however every time I broke I had the likes of dyer/schlupp/vardy being caught up and out muscled by absolute slugs?! Talk about realism..

Which will no doubt result in Fifa 18 having something like sophisticated defending to counteract intelligent attacking and so on onto fifa 19 where it will flip again. The constant back and forth will continue and EA wont do shit to find a balance between the two.

Surely must have bought coins from somewhere! Didn't think you could buy them anymore? Played another 2 games this morning and again ended up in draws. Also decided to buy some points to try and get someone decent. Ended up with so many shit players. Seems like my Fifa pack luck is going to be shit again.

Think they buy accounts where peoples credit cards and on accounts. Just been pack lucky at a guess I already have 60k, Sanchez and Lewandowski from Web App and £15 in packs.

Infact the whole foul system seems totally broke It's a game breaker in many ways, just lost my first seasons game due to a pen that wasn't, I didn't even foul him just collided with a player

Do EA/Konami purposely prevent games being too good, in case people just stick with it and don't buy the next? Genuine question...

Samilktray Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Bought it today and I genuinely haven't enjoyed a game less than this ever. Everything about it is stupid. I will say though the menus are a lot nicer to look at, and a lot slicker. But other than that, fvck this game.

But having played it a few days ive realised that its actually really boring As bad as fifa 15 was it was always entertaining and I could easily play 2-3 hours albeit moaning and whinging through them! However this game Ive get bored very easily. Whether it be a slow build up play or the piss poor passing, there is very little fun IMO

Foxhateram Posted 26 September 2015 Posted 26 September 2015 Clunky is all I can say really. I liked to (on previous fifas) switch the play and counter quickly. Nowadays it seems like you can't pass more than a yard away without losing the ball. Then you can't sprint with the ball because as soon as you are near a defender they suddenly become 100 mph quicker and manage to hoof the ball into the path of one of their players. Fifa has been trash for years now. I think 2006 or 2007 was the last time I can remember really enjoying it properly.
