I got fouled on the edge of the box, the ball fell to a player who had three defenders in front of him and the ref was playing advantage. Naturally, I wanted the free kick so I did what worked on fifa 15 and just didn't press any buttons, let go of the stick and I was expecting the ball to be brought back for a FK. Instead, I played out the advantage, lost the ball and promptly conceded a goal. It has to be this notice touch dribble thing since I wasn't pressing anything but my player was still dancing around the ball like Messi.

How they get away with putting out like this and just patching it later I never know. Imagine buying a kettle that doesn't work properly until they send out a replacement part 2 months later.

It seems the only way to actually pass the ball successfully with any kind of consistency is by hitting through ball every time. RS to beat the man for pace works very well though.

At the moment though it seems like so many passes are shit. Like when you just tap the pass button intending to pass to the player next to you but the player tries to tank it up-field instead. Also had so many occasions of trying to play a ball out to the midfielder from the back only for my player to decide he wants to play it across the back line instead.

syston_fox Posted 30 September 2015 Posted 30 September 2015 Must admit the passing is starting to annoy me too - I seem to have so many matches which turn into midfield battles of who can give the ball away the most. I also seem to be really struggling with connecting with crosses - missing the ball or timing headers wrong. Probably me doing something wrong more than the game being broken though!

I used the 50 mil in the catalogue to bring in Greizman and Laporte

Few games into the season with City. I actually really like it. People complaining about pace and passing is a bit daft. You just have to be more careful when placing your passes, thats not a bad thing just more realistic. You wouldn't just pass the ball in any direction in real life so why do it on the game? and like lots of other people have already stated just flick the right analogue when sprinting seems to work well for me. Not sure why Jeff isn't Really fast though that's quite annoying. I'm playing it on ps3 so i cant even make him any better with training
