I wouldn't be surprised to see him leave. It's also worth remembering that we've got a nearly 23 year old striker in the reserves who's yet to feature in the first team. Jacob Blyth. Will he be the 5th choice or is he going to leave as well?

People keep saying he's our 5th choice striker, but surely he's our second choice behind the front 2 after Mahrez?

Nugent's main positive points are his work rate and his quick passing of the ball to set people up, like in the Championship season and as happened a lot last year, Kramaric is nowhere near as generous as Nugent is with the ball and I'm not sure why we'd have him as second choice when he didn't impress there last year even slightly over Nugent who, although not a world beater, puts in constantly decent performances there and will get the ball moved about to players who may actually score, as well as the odd screamer. He's clearly not going to be with us for much longer but at the moment I'd start him there every day of the week over Kramaric if Mahrez got injured, not up front but there

I'd quite like him to go now, as a Nugent fan. I'd rather him go now and a relative high than being someone who is just kicking it about with the academy lads. Considering our striking options are more than good enough, I just don't see how Nugent will get any gametime

Absolutely no point in keeping him, he's 5th choice striker at the mo, 2nd choice possibly behind the front 2 (3rd if we sign our Chilean friend) and is over 30. If we get £1.8m we are absolutely laughing. Just remember we bought Knocky, Mahrez and Vardy for less than that with change left over. It would be better invested elsewhere.

He can say something about it when he starts distributing the ball faster and not doing 5 step-overs first. Love Kramaric but I don't understand why people are so adamant about playing him in the hole. Could he be good there? Sure. But at this point he seems better as a Striker.

Been a good player and popular squad member but think we have moved on, he will struggle to get into the matchday squad so perhaps it is better he moves on with hopefully all our best wishes.

I'll be gutted if he goes fully think he brings so much to the club.. He give 110% whenever he's on the pitch he's had a good pre season he's scored some important goals he is well liked amongst the squad he's a fan favourite I've seen him many times making time for the fans / kids spending hours outside making sure he sees everyone even when he's had his other half and daughter with him.. His other half is friendly and talks to people defiantly the most approachable man there.. He does the job for us when he plays we click he makes a difference he does a lot in the community for the club. I fully think we will miss him regret it if he goes my take is that he's being forced out he don't want to go he loves it here and has said so time again he's settled his family are settled. If powers that be do force him to go I hope he doesn't leave till after the next home game and hope he gets the chance to say bye and we get the chance to say good luck and thank you.. We've been denied to say bye to knocky woody even konch - yes he had his moments but also remember that goal against villa he scored it was an important goal and if I remember right won us the game! Okazaki had a good game but can he be like that for the season? Vards ran himself into the ground again he's gonna burn out one day! Kram not proven! Ullola doesn't put the shift in nuge does!! Club shouldn't push him out he and we deserve more than that. Should hold onto him see how it pans out then instead of basically telling him to f**k off he's not wanted sit down with the bloke talk to him possibly loan him in jan if have too but don't get rid without seeing what's what give it time to see how the squad works! I rate the bloke and as I said I believe it's wrong to force him out and get rid of him and I'll be gutted if he goes!! #saveourNuge [emoji170][emoji460]️[emoji87]

Nuge's girl replied to a Wednesday fan last night that he wasn't going there but also said yesterday that she couldn't confirm that he wasn't leaving. So make of that what you will. Think he's probably gone but I don't know that it'll be Wednesday. 

 

I, for one, would love to see him over here in the U.S.; think he could do well for himself in MLS. The transfer window is closed here though so it would have to be in January or next Summer. 

Anyone got the twitter handle of Nugent's missus please?

So nugents Mrs watches vardy score for us In a 4-2 victory yesterday, while her beloved David is at the gym.

She was present with nugent at the casino with vardy and de laet that night. (I assume, because vardys Mrs was there)

Could this be revenge aimed at the club?
