Even more gutted that Nuge isn't even in the squad for tomorrow. He is an important player for us. We will miss him. I am guessing Claudio is going to go with the big buys automatically over last years team. Not how I would manage the team but hey I'm not the manager.

But he isnt a Premier player, whether people like him or not he isnt consistently good enough. I like his work rate and desire but imo at best hes fourth choice striker, probably even fifth. A move would be good i think.

A move would be good i think. Disagree. What evidence can you use to state he should be that far down the pecking order? We are yet to see kramaric do anything special to see him earn a place. Okazaki has never played a prem game. Vardes is obviously first choice, alongside him has to be Ulloa/kram. Leaving that cam role for Mahrez/ Nuge (see my previous post). That makes Nuge third choice to me, in a different role to the other strikers. I think we desperately need Nuge to offer that something different to the other choices. He got many assists last term and scored a few also. How does that make him not good enough?

Also think he won't be the last one shown the door.... Up the City....
yorksfox Posted 7 August 2015 Posted 7 August 2015 I've always enjoyed watching Nuge, such an infectious character with sublime skill aswell. Not always the most clinical but, perhaps retrospectively, will be regarded as one of the most effective forwards at this club in the past 30 years. I hope he can play a part this season as any alternatives are, as yet, unproven (if not bloody expensive, too!) If not, he can leave with the knowledge that he made an enormous contribution during his time here.

If he's being forced to train with the u21s all week then I'd understand the outrage.

Nuge is a top lad but needs to be playing regularly which obviously isn't going to happen here anymore. Been a great servant to us and played a massive part both on and off the pitch these past couple of yrs which we should be grateful for. All the best Nuge...thanks for the memory's Where did he post?
