NewquayFox Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Could we lose a full team from last season now Ranieri is here, some have already gone.... Schwarzer Simpson Morgan Upson Konchesky Taylor Fletcher Hammond Powell Knockeart Nugent Wood And the Thai three of course...
kingcarr21 Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Would you REALLY be that bothered if we lost all them players. Surely that would mean we would replace them with a 'full team' who would be more likely better than that crop
shailen Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Morgan - No chance. Not enough CBs and he has proved his quality especially at both ends of the season Nugent - Possibly. If we get another striker in, I'm sure he'll be gone. I'd keep him as a squad player otherwise Hammond - Either way. I'd keep him until we get more numbers in midfield The rest can go imo.
Wilson_6 Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 If this was football manager they would all be gone on my save
les-tah Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Hammond seems like a true professional id happily keep him as a squad player for this season.

Agree with plus Schwarzer is probably worth keeping for the final 12 months of his contract, if nothing else then for lending his support and knowledge to Hamer and Schmeichel in training and experience in the dressing room. Very useful cover to have around too.
davieG Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Who would have them and pay their wages is the more relevant question Both Morgan and Simpson have 2 years left on their PL contracts.
Fox92 Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 We haven't got enough cover at the minute to get rid of Morgan. Same with Simpson really as De Laet would be our only recognized right full back. Hammond and Konchesky have just signed new contracts too. Not that contracts mean too much these days if another club wants them/they want to leave.
jamesmilner Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Nugents on £33,000 ! Who would pay that outside the prem ? He won't be moving !!
Leeds Fox Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 That's a full team of fringe players who won't be coming anywhere near the team if we want to kick on. Barring a few exceptions, albeit they will almost certainly be fringe players if the stay on next season.
Finn Claw II Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Nugent is a good squad player and unless we pay his wages while on loan he's going nowhere. Hammond, Schwarzer, Konch are all good pros with experience and will be around for another year. If we sign more cover, some of them could go out on loan.
AKCJ Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Nugents on £33,000 ! Who would pay that outside the prem ? He won't be moving !! Plenty of people giving his goalscoring and assist records. He's a very good footballer.

Rumours flying about that Derby have bid 3.75 million for Morgan...
benpicko Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 The only players I'd be bothered losing there are Nugent and Morgan, and a lot of them are already gone
kingfox Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Wouldn't mind seeing them all binned apart from Morgan. Can't see Hammond playing many games, while I don't think they'll be any room for Nugent.
shade Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 Rumours flying about that Derby have bid 3.75 million for Morgan... flying about in your head.
4everfox Posted 15 July 2015 Posted 15 July 2015 flying about in your head. I'm afraid not, I was informed by a couple of Derby fans I work with. I've not heard anything from the Leicester end of things though.
