Wilson_6 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Its only on First4Lcfc which isn't brilliant. But would be a decent signing IMo and some one Ranieri could attract. only 28 thought he was older than that. http://www.first4lcfc.co.uk/blog/tottenham-hotspur-winger-could-be-on-the-move/? Reports this morning have emerged that unsettled winger Aaron Lennon will not be joining Everton on a permanent basis as Spurs’ valuation is too high. Prior to his loan move to Everton in January, the winger Aaron Lennon was the target of a host of clubs including Leicester City, Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, West Ham United, Queens Park Rangers and Hull City. EDS Sports report that Everton are not prepared to pay the asking price for the Tottenham Hotspur player, who still has one year on his contract. Lennon, now 28, attracted a lot of interest when he was put up for loan in January. Could it be that the door is now open for one of Leicester City, Stoke City, West Bromwich Albion, West Ham United, Queens Park Rangers or Hull City? Lennon made 14 appearances for Everton, scoring 2 in his time.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I think we can do better, he didn't do that well at Everton which is why they're not interested.
Fox 4 Life Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 He turned us down before so can't see it happening.
kingcarr21 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I think we can do better, he didn't do that well at Everton which is why they're not interested. He turned us down before so can't see it happening. Well 1 of you is lying
Adster Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 He's like an overhyped Lloyd Dyer. Pace but not much end product.
kingcarr21 Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Well 1 of you is lying fox 4 life edited his post. Therefore you are the liar
Wilson_6 Posted 16 July 2015 Author Posted 16 July 2015 2 goals and 3 assists inst terrible in 14 appearances though.
Nick Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I'd take him. Genuine improvement on what we have in my opinion. Good fit with our style.
Wilson_6 Posted 16 July 2015 Author Posted 16 July 2015 He's like an overhyped Lloyd Dyer. Pace but not much end product. I'd love another Lloyd Dyer. He had no end product but i still loved him.
Stevosevic Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 He got closed to his old form at Everton, can't see him fitting our formation though - if we stick with 5 at the back. He isn't a WB.
Fox 4 Life Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 fox 4 life edited his post. Therefore you are the liar Haha, he did well at Everton but they don't want to spend big money and have other players that are similar standard. He would be an asset for us.
sphericalfox Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I think he's shite and has never produced the goods, ever, and definetly not first. Aaron Lennon's okay though. A combo of EDL Sports and last4lcfc = horseschnit
simon789us Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 We only have 1 out and out winger in the squad and he plays rwb be good imo
Simmsy Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Could do a lot worse and adds strength to a position we don't have many players for. Wouldn't cost too much either I'd imagine.
foxfanazer Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Meh. Think he'd see himself as a bit above us, which he's really not
lgfualol Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Mahrez only got 3 assists all season. He set up a lot though, most of our strikers couldn't score to save their lives for 2/3 of the season.
Leicesterpool Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Would take him, with Knocky gone we are needing to fill in that extra winger option.
foxfanazer Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Would take him, with Knocky gone we are needing to fill in that extra winger option.Prefer Phillips
Christoph Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 Yes definitely take him. His pace will work wonders for our team.
Alf Bentley Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 I'd love another Lloyd Dyer. He had no end product but i still loved him. Last season, I'd occasionally get the urge to jump up from my seat, shouting "Come on, Lloyd!", expecting to see him racing down the wing....and he wouldn't be there. Tbf, he did SOMETIMES have end product. Part of the joyful anticipation was not knowing when that would be - or when he'd race down the wing, tear the defence to shreds and then blaze it into the crowd.
psychonaut Posted 16 July 2015 Posted 16 July 2015 This isn't a link it's just First4lcfc speculating.
