001merp Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Does anyone know if Radio Leicester will be covering the preseason games? And if so will it be available of FoxesPlayer? I'm on holiday next week but would like to listen to the games if it's possible. Cheers
Blanesta Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 anyone else misread this as pearson on the radio? Haha yes that's what I thought it was!
WiFoxes Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 I'm pretty sure on the Football Forum this week they said Tuesday's game at Lincoln City would be on Radio Leicester.
JasonBourne1986 Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 To confirm... We are doing all the games (as long as the technicals work) on FM, DAB and online through our website and Foxes Player. Cheers.
Lesta Legend Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 To confirm... We are doing all the games (as long as the technicals work) on FM, DAB and online through our website and Foxes Player. Cheers. Have you had any confirmation of being able to talk to the players again? [emoji23]
Lcfc_Connor Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Yeah they will so long as they can get an internet connection at the ground
Edingleyfox Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 To confirm... We are doing all the games (as long as the technicals work) on FM, DAB and online through our website and Foxes Player. Cheers. Coverage is always excellent.Just need to build some bridges again with the club to get the mutual trust to get decent feedback post match.
theadmans Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 I don't live in Leicester so cannot get Radio Leicester on FM. Does anyone know if (with this only being Pre - Season) the game commentary will be blocked with Online Radio Leicester ? I don't really want to sign up to Foxes Player as once the season proper gets under way all games will be streamed to view.
Rincewind Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 I was looking for online radio for my phone or tablet but could not find Radio Leicester. I also do not want to sign up as you mostly get rugby on DAB. I have a DAB radio which I bought for the purpose of listening to games but still need to be in range.
zante Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 To confirm... We are doing all the games (as long as the technicals work) on FM, DAB and online through our website and Foxes Player. Cheers. It might be good idea not to be an absolute dick when interviewing the manager this time....If you could please pass that on......
Carl the Llama Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 It might be good idea not to be an absolute dick when interviewing the manager this time....If you could please pass that on...... I'd like to see a piece explaining how tf Stringer outlasted Pearson in their respective roles. Ian was banging on about 'should Nigel get the sack' in the wake of the innocuous McCarthy incident. Surely drawing your finger across your throat is a lot more malicious and sack-worthy than joking around with a player you have history with, if he were in any way consistent he'd have handed his resignation in the second it became clear he'd been spotted and players were no longer willing to deal with him.
halferowley2 Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 anyone else misread this as pearson on the radio? Yep
lgfualol Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 Thank christ for football returning. Cant wait to listen.

It will work fine online as they're not restricted by the FA/ premier league / Football league.

Because Stringer gets attention to Radio Leicester, and that is really their job: to get good listening figures - it's sort of like Katie Hopkins; she's a jibbering idiot, but her antics get her noticed and people pay attention so they can be annoyed by her and moan about her.
theadmans Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 It will work fine online as they're not restricted by the FA/ premier league / Football league. - thanks mate - that's good news.
LCFC FOX Posted 18 July 2015 Posted 18 July 2015 They should just let Jason Bourne do the interviews. While Ian is better at commentary Jason is more professional. Everyone wins then
001merp Posted 18 July 2015 Author Posted 18 July 2015 To confirm... We are doing all the games (as long as the technicals work) on FM, DAB and online through our website and Foxes Player. Cheers. Cheers Jason. Unfortunately I've arrived in Cornwall to discover the place I'm staying doesn't have wifi so I can't listen Still, glad the footballs starting again!

Find local radio then scroll through to radio Leicester. Unless it has changed since I last used it.

If you tune in there'll be an automated message saying as much. The only way to get RL coverage on the internet seems to be through the Foxes Player on the OS.

Collymore Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 I wouldn't be surprised if RL had better listening figures for the friendlies than they will for PL
