If the Cambiasso question hasn't been asked yet then people are mental.  His decision will massively effect my outlook for the season.

Need more than 3 players in my opinion, not sure if that's including Cambiasso or not but still need more.

Glad to see the backroom staff stay

"My goal is to get one more point than last season"

I was a bit shocked by that. What the **** is that all about?

You perhaps shouldn't take everything he says literally, if you do you'll be constantly moaning because there will be a lot lost in translation. Just take that as he simply wants to improve on last season.

His goal is to get one point more next season. It might sound like he's not aiming high (sides have been relegated with more points than that) but right now I'd probably take it.

And his English - I'd hope that would improve pretty quickly. A lot of real beginners' errors in there - could be nerves, of course, but would hate for it to become a problem. I've had students go from level zero to his level in three months, including mature students. Maybe it won't be a problem, who's to say.

Promising, though, to hear that he wants to maintain the current set-up, and a respectful doff of the cap to Pearson as well.

Who is spamming "Claudio Ranieri looking sexy at his press conference" on the #lcfc twitter tag. I got excited when I saw 60 new tweets.

Did he actually say that? Pearson gives interviews saying he's aiming for the top 10 his successor is aiming for a point more than last season? Suppose that does simply mean improvement though so whatever, of course we'll aim for more

This, stop panicking, he wants to improve that's all we need to know

Agree with him about one more point, he's on a three year contract and Id imagine the first year will be his hardest, therefore if we stay up the first year hopefully we can build upon it for the season after that.

Club stability and ensuring we maintain a premier league status is key, it's something we shouldn't get carried away with now we're not the new boys BUT... It doesn't strike me with much confidence when a new manager comes in and says he is aiming for just 1 more point than last season!

He has a good set up here, we have just spent £10mil + this summer with potentially a lot more and he wants only 1 more point!

That was his exact quote but it's perhaps a bit misleading of me to just leave it there on its own. I think what he was trying to say was that he was aiming for steady improvements season upon season, with one point more being the minimum threshold for what would be considered a success.

The gist of it though is that he thinks this will be a steady building process.
