Gerard Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Again, you are assuming the result is Leicester or stay. Little incentive for Bayer to increase their bid. He has said he won't accept our offer. So the owners get nothing (now) if he stays at inter, or €9.8m if he goes to Bayer. I hope you're right because I'd imagine the his owners well tell BL to fuck off. They'll just be rubbed up the wrong way when they have a legitamitte €15m offer and BL are dictating the price to them. It also depends on what they think Aranguiz will do. The real question in this conundrum is what will Aranguiz do in a month when the transfer deadline day is 24 hours away? Would he prefer to stay at Internacional or go to Leicester?
General Smuts Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Where did he get that iPod tie, I want one for my birthday. Can I have that laggy band? I like green. Not my TV - a mate sent it to me. I haven't seen it yet.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 The deal's dead, the wheels have come off, the bullet could not be needled.
wignalll2007 Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 It amazes me why people read into every little thing that is posted on Twitter etc... Negotiations are complicated and can go back and forth. While it's good in some senses that we have all this information at our fingertips it can be bloody frustrating when you don't know who or what to believe.
Callabinho Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Personally I think most of it is bollocks, more than likely been misinterpreted by somebody.
adamlcfcbevo85 Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Why is this thread still open the deal is dead
Gerard Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Why is this thread still open the deal is dead Don't read it. The deal isn't dead, it has a feint pulse and where there is life there is hope. This thread may well be 5,000 posts and a million views in four weeks if Aranguiz is still at Internacional and BL refuse to pay €15m. Aranguiz may still end up here yet.

Very little chance but true!!! ^ ^ The way I see it if BL match our offer he's gone. If they don't he either stays or join Leicester!! This is NOT like Veretout transfer at all wher inter will accept less ...... because there is a 3rd party involved which is effectively a business they will get as much money as possible because they won't be interested in the football side!

He will leave because inter/his reps will want the money. It's just a case of let's wait to see if BL match our offer, if not see ha son, destination Leicester.

The big question for his owners is will Aranguiz go to Leicester if his only other choice is Internacional? If they believe he will then they'll sit tight and wait. I believe Aranguiz will reluctantly come to Leicester if he gets a favourable minimum fee release and a good season will see bigger teams wanting him for a reasonable fee. I think this is beneficial for all parties concerned.

Except they already have accepted less from OM.

I think this is beneficial for all parties concerned. If bigger teams aren't coming in for him now, I can't imagine they will later. We've put people off by bidding over £10m. If other teams can't justify spending that much on him, they won't. At the end of the day his reps and Inter will want the cash, so he will do as they say, plus he's 26 will he get a better chance to move than now?
foxoffderby Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I know our bid for this guy has been accepted but can't our club up the bid again by a few million more, and really force the club to accept, or he has to stay at his current club?

I said if he came to us and had a good season we could end up selling him in a year to a top six side or big European club for his minimum fee release clause. At 26 he can't really afford not to move to Europe in this transfer window. It's intriguing to see how this one pans out.
Gerard Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 I know our bid for this guy has been accepted but can't our club up the bid again by a few million more, and really force the club to accept, or he has to stay at his current club? ???????? The club already have accepted, his transfer fee isn't the issue. The issue is the player doesn't want to come here and wants to join Bayer Leverkusen.

Huh? "I know our bid has been accepted, but can't we force the bid to be accepted?" Are you having an argument with yourself?

ARM1968 Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 So what is OM's bid and has it officially been accepted?
Gerard Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 So what is OM's bid and has it officially been accepted? I think it's just some know nothing idiot on twitter. As far as I'm aware there is no confirmation from any reputable source that OM have made a bid which has been accepted.
FireFox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 So what is OM's bid and has it officially been accepted?A couple million less. Apparently, according to a beIN article. All BL need to do now is to make a bid of somewhat less than OM.

foxoffderby Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Your all right. Just really want this guy and I'm getting frustrated. My posts are going down hill. I'll shut up for a bit
