The Blur Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 I think it would be more challenging if you had to build a 21 men squad compromising of one player per club (and two from Leicester! )
Jimothy Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Arsenal- Alexis Sanchez Villa- probably Micah Richards, but it's tough. Bournemouth- Harry Arter Chelsea- Cesc Fabregas Palace- Yohan Cabaye Everton- Seamus Coleman Liverpool- Daniel Sturridge Man City- Sergio Aguero Man United- David De Gea Newcastle- Moussa Sissoko Norwich- Nathan Redmond Southampton- Would've have said Schneiderlin but probably Victor Wanyama now Sunderland- Seb Larsson Stoke- Bojan Swansea- Sigurddson Spurs- Christian Eriksen Watford- Lloyd Dyer West Brom- Saido Berahino West Ham- Sakho
Jaspa Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 I think it would be more challenging if you had to build a 21 men squad compromising of one player per club (and two from Leicester! ) Basically thought the same thing, would take a while to scratch up though; would kind of be like a fantasy footie team Lloris Ivanovic - Shawcross - Jagielka - Cresswell Schweinsteiger - C.Sanchez Mane - Sigurdsson - A.Sanchez Aguero Bench : Krul, McAuley, Whittaker, Cabaye, Arter, Capoue, Milner, Wickham, Vardy Scratched that up quickly and its well off imo
foxfanazer Posted 26 July 2015 Author Posted 26 July 2015 I think it would be more challenging if you had to build a 21 men squad compromising of one player per club (and two from Leicester! )I'm hanging way too much to do this
orangecity23 Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 I think it would be more challenging if you had to build a 21 men squad compromising of one player per club (and two from Leicester! ) Here's my attempt 01 Arsenal- Carzorla 02 Aston Villa- Okore 03 Bournemouth- Mings 04 Chelsea- Fabregas 05 Crystal Palace- Bolasie 06 Everton- Coleman 07 Leicester - Mahrez 08 Leicester - Vardy 09 Liverpool- Clyne 10 Manchester City- Kompany 11 Manchester United- Schweinsteiger 12 Newcastle- Krul 13 Norwich- Redmond 14 Southampton- Mane 15 Sunderland- Clattermore 16 Stoke- Shawcross 17 Swansea-Williams 18 Spurs- Lloris 19 Watford- Deeney 20 West Brom- Berahinho 21 West Ham- Cresswell 2 GK Lloris, Krul 2 RB Coleman, Clyne 2 LB Cresswell, Mings 4 CB A Williams, Shawcross, Kompany, Okore 4 Wingers Redmond, Bolasie, Mahrez, Mane 4 CM Schweinsteiger, Fabregas, Clattermore, Carzorla 3 Strikers Deeney, Berahinho, Vardy The challenge comes from the fact that some teams (Norwich, Sunderland, Villa, Watford) have practically **** all players of any use to the squad, and end up taking slots that better players from Chelsea, Arsenal, Southampton etc could be filling. I'd probably choose Lloris Coleman Kompany Williams Cresswell Fabregas Carzorla Schweinsteiger Bolasie Mahrez Berahinho (or Vards) Clearly, I've wasted all my good picks on a solid defence and midfield, hope it wouldn't be too toothless up front.
Xen Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Right, here's my attempt... 3-4-1-2 Lloris Jagielka - Huth - Cahill Walcott - Adam - Schweinsteiger - Bolasie Coutinho Aguero - Berahino Subs: Boruc*, Fonté, Richards, Cresswell, Redmond, Colback, Shelvey, Larsson, Deeney Think that works... Boruc is only in there because I couldn't see any other Bournemouth players I recognised enough (other than Kermo). Guzan would've been my pick otherwise. Went for a solid defence/CDM, then pace to break down the wings and up front. Options on the bench to switch to a back 4. Limited striking options, but I figure Walcott can step up if needed. Mahrez would be my Leicester 'wildcard'.
Danno Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Arsenal - Sanchez Aston Villa - Grealish Bournemouth - Ritchie Chelsea - Fabregas Crystal Palace - Bolasie Everton - Coleman Liverpool - Coutinho City - Silva United - De Gea Newcastle - Sissokho Norwich - Johnson Saints - S.Mane S'land - None Stoke - Arnautovic Swansea - Shelvey Spurs - Eriksen Watford - Deeney West Brom - Berahino West Ham - Valencia

Dan Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Arsenal - Alexis Sanchez Aston Villa - Ashley Westwood (my god they are bad at the minute) Bournemouth - Matt Ritchie Chelsea - John Terry Crystal Palace - Yannick Bolasie Everton - John Stones Leicester - Riyad Mahrez Liverpool - Coutinho Manchester City - Sergio Aguero Manchester United - Angel Di Maria Newcastle United - Aleksandar Mitrovic Norwich City - Bradley Johnson (I tell you what these are in serious contention to go down, or am I being ignorant?) Southampton - James Ward-Prowse Stoke City - Bojan Krkic Swansea City - Ashley Williams Sunderland - Adam Johnson (Their squad is actual garbage ) Tottenham - Hugo Lloris Watford - Troy Deeney West Brom - James Morrison West Ham - Aaron Cresswell Tell you what this has been a bit of an eye-opener. We're short squad-wise but we're not the only ones.
Jimothy Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Tell you what this has been a bit of an eye-opener. We're short squad-wise but we're not the only ones. I really struggled to think of a player in the Villa squad I'd like here. They've sold the three players I'd have taken and released the other. Benteke, Delph, Wiemann and Vlaar.
