Great business in the transfer market and the team has carried on from where they finished and show no signs of hangover from the Pearson sacking. Claudio is also very likeable and can see why they thought he could be the right man for us.

Kante, Kramaric and Inler are all techincally good players, I can't remember the last time we have had so many players who are comfortable on the ball, at the end of the day this is what will win the you points. The defensive still has to be worked on but our midfield and attacking players are the best crop we have had at the club for the past 20 years. There is no reason to calm down but every reason to be excited.

Fernandes, Abe, Yakubu, Vitor and Gallagher were technically sound players but we dropped silly points. Did you learn nothing from the Sven era? I'm not saying don't be optimistic, but I'm much more interested in passing judgement when they have actually performed in 10/20 games for us as effort and attitude are just as important, if not more than being technically sound.
