Arriba Los Zorros Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 What do we think now Inler has signed. At full strength, I'd go with a 3-5-2 to maximise counter attacking. Prefer Albrighton and Mahrez to stick to the wings that match their stronger foot as I prefer crosses to cutting in. Would like to see Inler and James box-to-box and Kanté sitting Leaving out Jeff was hard as was Drinky. P.s please don't criticise, just my opinion! Kasp Was Morgan Huth Albrighton James Inler Kanté Mahrez Vardy Okazaki SUBS Schwarz, Fuchs, Schlupp, Drinks, King, Ulloa, Kramaric
indierich06 Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 I'll stick with the one that's started and won the last two games so far!

ScouseFox Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 kasper huth king mahrez shinji anyone else fill in the gaps
General Smuts Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 kasper huth king mahrez shinji anyone else fill in the gaps I'd second that while adding Schlupp and Albrighton to that list.
Swiper Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Kasper Morgan Huth Fuchs Inler Mahrez Drinkwater Kante Albrighton Okazaki Vardy Subs: Schwarzer, King, Ulloa, Kram, Benalouane, Schlupp, Was I realize this is kind of risky sticking Fuchs in a back 3, but I feel like he needs to be on the field. With our pace, his delivery could be deadly. Not to mention the fact that he finally makes us a threat with direct free kicks (Albrighton has been great from the longer ones.)
ScouseFox Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 I'd second that while adding Schlupp and Albrighton to that list. crikey is you were assistant an i was manager we'd have nearly a full team
benpicko Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Not sure how anybody can leave out Drinkwater after those two matches
Stadt Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 This would be our strongest 11 Schwarzer Wasilewski Huth Benalouane Morgan Fuchs Hammond Inler James Vardy Ulloa

Freesolo Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 I always though 3 at the back and 2 wing backs was a strongest formation and what we should stick with, the problem is that our defence is slightly weak I think we need a £8mish proven RB before the season starts or on January
benpicko Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Strongest is, I think: Schmeichel De Laet - Huth - Wes Albrighton - Drinkwater - Kanté - Schlupp Mahrez Okazaki - Vardy Put Inler in there in big matches or if one of those two hit a rough patch of form.

I agree No Jeff? also dont like Mahrez on the wing with 3 at the back
Captain... Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Jeff and Albrighton are what made the 532 work, I would not expect Mahrez to do the job Jeff does down the left. I don't know what our best team is at the moment as the new boys haven't played much. Assuming Kante and Inler are the players we are hoping they are then I would like to see something like this: Back 3 of Morgan, Huth, Was. Albrighton and Schlupp as wing backs. Kante and Inler in the middle, Vardy, Shinji and Mahrez as a front 3.
bovril Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 It used to be hard to think of 11 players you wanted to include, now it's almost impossible to whittle it down to only 11! What a squad we have at the moment.
rmahrez Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Going with Ranieri's so far successful 4-4-2. Kasper De Laet Huth Wassy Fuchs Mahrez Inler James Albrighton Vardy Okazaki Tough decision between James/Kingy for me. Think James can be class if he improves his finishing and he can get a few goals for us. Need a bit of experience in that midfield so Inler looks perfect to sit back a bit like Esteban last year and conduct things, possibly allowing Fuchs and De Laet to bomb on forward.
Munshi Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Amazed at how so many people are leaving the likes of Schlupp and King out, clearly our strongest XI is the one who've won 2 out of 2 so far. Kasper De Laet Morgan Huth Jeff Mahrez Drinkwater King Albrighton Vardy Shinji. Simple.

What a squad we have at the moment. The players he bought this summer will be expecting game time I would think, Its a double edged sword i don't think he should play around with the current team right now as we are winning, he couls ease in the new guys as subs over the next few weeks , but Kingy must be expecting to lose his spot at some point, what about when James comes back to full fitness? may have to lend a few players out?
General Smuts Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 crikey is you were assistant an i was manager we'd have nearly a full team I'm nobodies 4th Ghostbuster! I'll be manager you can be the bitch.
teblin Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 I'm glad some of the people in this thread don't picknthe team.

SecretPro Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Whys everyone jizzing over Drinky again? He was poor last season and i've seen every minute of this season so far and can't say I've seen anything spectacular? His forward passing has been slightly better than last season but still not a patch on Esteban, his defensive game has again been slightly better but I still wouldn't consider it anything any other top half club would be interested in? Same applies to King.

Kasper De Laet Morgan Huth Jeff Mahrez Drinkwater King Albrighton Vardy Shinji. Simple. Is it though? How does anybody know that if we had start X player instead of Y we wouldn't have beaten sunderland 5-0 and WH 4-0? Surely the last two games included simply the players that were picked and they produced the end result? For example, surely on this logic we would have started this season with the same forwards we finished last season with and this would be our best 11 - however we have bouhgt Shinji in who has been a demon and now he's in the best starting 11 automatically? But what if we started Kramaric and he scored 10 in two games.... it goes on and on....
chapero82 Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Seen Ulloa in town today he did not seem a happy bunny
