foxes21 Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 We need the big pole back! Bring him in for De Laet. Wasyl, Huth, Morgan in a 3-4-1-2 formation next match please Claudio!
adam95581 Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Feel sorry for him - he hasn't done a thing wrong and has to watch Benny come in...a player who I personally think is absolutely awful and a complete liability.
STUHILL Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 I miss Wasyl. He looks like some big oaf, but he is actually really good and always has been for us!
foxes21 Posted 29 August 2015 Author Posted 29 August 2015 We looked so much more comfortable defensively with those 3 at the back. Now we are back to bomb scares with De Laet ffs. Wasyl is a steady player. DeLaet-Benalouane-Moore - that should be our second string defence. Come on claudio the pole is class!
EnglishOxide Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 ****ing love Wasyl. I've got no idea why Benalouane has come in and taken his place.
foxes21 Posted 29 August 2015 Author Posted 29 August 2015 Villa is perfect for Wasyl too. Him huth and morgan will take gestede out the game instantly.
Unabomber Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Bring back Pearson who will then bring back Wasyl.
BoyJones Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 People used to say that Was was a massive liability, liable to give away a penalty / get a red card etc at any time - compared to Benny Was is patience and culture personified. I agree, Was should start ahead of Benny.
danfox76 Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Bring back Pearson who will then bring back Wasyl. yh and head-butt all the knew signings
LCCFox96 Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Feel sorry for him - he hasn't done a thing wrong and has to watch Benny come in...a player who I personally think is absolutely awful and a complete liability. I love Was but he was at fault for the goal at Bury (not massive in big picture of things but his play there was rash). Agree that, for the time being at least, he should be ahead of Benalouane in the pecking order. He offers more at right back as an alternative position and is far more composed in possession.
kingfox Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Blame Demarai Gray. Ranieri has obviously dropped him from his plans based on the game against Birmingham. Wouldn't be surprised if Anderlecht try & re sign him.
LCCFox96 Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Blame Demarai Gray. Ranieri has obviously dropped him from his plans based on the game against Birmingham. Wouldn't be surprised if Anderlecht try & re sign him. We'd be mind blowingly stupid to allow Was to leave. We've got Benalouane who appears to be having big PL teething problems (not helped by his lack of composure) and Moore who was well-documented to have struggled at this level last season. Wes and Huth look the undisputed number one pairing but after that Was is the best back up we have.
Guest Sharpe's Fox Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Much better than Benneh he should be in the squad
LAprice_ Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Ranieri can't win! One minute people moan about him changing formation and now people want him to change it more drastically? I'm a huge Wasyl fan and his absence from the team is depressing BUT Benalouane has been coming on to play at right-back. I love Wasyl but I never want to see him playing at right-back again. Ever.
dormelcfc Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Yes, Wasyl should definitely be ahead of Benalouane for me. Feel sorry for him, there is next to no justification for him being out of the squad. I would say stick him at right-back for the game against Villa instead of De Laet but then I remember his performance there at Hillsborough a few seasons back.
HighPeakFox Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Deffinantly should be infront of Benny. Deffinantly?
foxes21 Posted 29 August 2015 Author Posted 29 August 2015 Nobody is saying put wasyl at right back .
iamafox Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 I'm still mystified as to why he's been left out. I know Pearson was in charge when Wasyl signed a new deal but it seems like Claudio isn't a big fan.
fuchsntf Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 I am also sorry to see Wasyl not in the back 3/4 he with Huth was the reason for our EOS great run in. but Ranieri now needs to go his own way. He was my POS last season....I accept things change., Wasyl may have had his last golden period in the blue shirt, I hope not...but no critic on Claudio..
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 Claudio obviously doesn't fancy him which is crazy if he's actually looked at how people performed last season. De Laet and Benalouane both looked far more suspect than Wasilewski ever has for us.
Kitchandro Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 I agree. I guess Claudio is looking at his age and maybe pre-season where he didn't sound so good. Player do tend to drop of a cliff at a certain age. I'd still have him in a back 3 and certainly ahead of Benny who's a walking accident.
ThorpeAstleyFox Posted 29 August 2015 Posted 29 August 2015 If we revert to a back 3 then sure I'd love to see him back in the starting 11, but as long as we're playing 4 at the back then no. I'm not too concerned wether it is Was or Benny on the bench - but you can't sign a new player and not even put him in the squad! Was is class and whenever he is called upon I have no doubt that he will do a fantastic job for us. Was, Benny and Liam Moore are currently all squad players - which in all honesty was all that Was ever was before we switched to a back 3.
