Palace fans take Union FS flags

Recommended Posts

The photo looks real up close. They are holding onto them? Do the flags get take down the pub afterwards or something?

Some flags are left up, some come down to be taken to away games. The ones in the photo were left there, so it is possible they've been taken. But, as I said, I was one of the last out due to taking our flags down, and the ones in the photo were still there. If they have been taken, the away game could turn into a bit of a battle!

It's a long game and we've got to go to their place and we'll remember that.

Bastards.

I would suggest they've been nicked mate. Might be a wind up but it looks quite convincing. Scummy little cvnts if they have. Might be worth contacting the club and getting the cctv checked.

We'll get on it tomorrow to see if they are still there. Bad form if they've been taken, despite club rivalries, stealing from fellow supporters is not on.

They all look about 12 and somewhat chavvish in that photo. They think they are something they really arent or never will be. There is bound to be good footage of that group in the away end. They were all huddled at the back in the middle by their own flag. We are supposed to have the best stadium cctv in the country. Posting the evidence just shows they are brain dead. Make sure you save it and let us know how you get on tomorrow.

Btw that pub is in Selhurst. I've seen it before. It's their main boozer.

So they've not been taken deliberately by some fans in SK1 and just gone drinking with Palace? Or maybe it's a photo from last seasons away fixture.

I really don't know how they could have been nicked.

The tweet says 3.46pm??? lol

If that photo is actually real, then I feel for you guys. Having stuff nicked by scummy little rats like that is just low. More to the point, how the hell would they get in without any stewards seeing when the ground was empty?

Pacific time. It says 11:46 pm if you're logged in to a UK-based account.

If that photo is legit, how have they taken those?

Thought the atmosphere was a bit flatter today.. Still a massive improvement from what it was, maybe it's because we've set such high standards of late.

Another great effort at the back from Union FS, but that new Okazaki song..

Definitely nicked. It's an ultras' code to display captured flags upside down.

Now we know where we can drink in London on 19th March

I haven't a clue how it's happened. Like Pardew said though, people remember things in football. All I'll say.

Almost looks like the flags are too bright in a way compared to the rest of the pic especially the middle one. But then again I'm no expert but could be photoshopped.

Although as I was leaving the ground I did hear some stewards talking and one of them did say that one of the palace coaches were missing some fans, all from the same coach. Obviously I'm just guessing here but could be something to it.

I could just about understand parading opposition flags, taken in battle through fighting man to man.

Doing so after sneaking round to unpin them when the ground is empty is however something else.

" we ain't hard, we're just tea leaves innit!"

. Pwopa fackin firm.

To be fair, that's the biggest compliment they could give to our support. Obviously got to them.

They're not used to being completely drowned out, especially when they get smug and try to "own" We Love You.

Most home atmospheres in the league are pretty stale, including ours before the last nine months or so in fairness. They go from ground to ground thinking they're the dogs bollocks.

Yesterday they were naff in the stands, naff on the pitch and apparently felt the need to attempt petty point scoring to repair their egos.

Pretty sure posing with captured flags should be done with flags you've taken with a bit of bottle in a ruck, not chav'd out of an empty stadium when the security have nodded off and the fans have all gone home celebrating a win.

Tragic. lol

Surely the club can finance those being remade. How the hell can a few Palace fans get in completely unchallenged and nick them?
