Palace fans take Union FS flags

How would they get access, as it's on the other side of the stadium?

Some of the stewards often stay around after the game for a bit as well.

Don't see the point in them nicking it; if they decide to burn it or whatever, just sums them up as scum (as if they're not already).

Here's the thing

If someone has said before the game "swap you your flag for a guaranteed win" would you have agreed?

Whilst theft like this is BS. We win.

Depends if they were your flags I guess.

If they return them in good spirit fair play to them it's pretty funny to sneak in and Nick some flags if they are happy to return them.

Best not to get too pissed off and aggressive about it just yet, could just be a good bit of fun or turn nasty. Nobody wants it to turn nasty as it could jeopardise what both the Palace Ultras and Union FS are trying to achieve.

Agree it's sort of funny as long as the flags make their way back. A few beers or a 'ransom' paid to charity

What's the point of having their faces blurred?

You'd find them hanging about on the streets looking for trouble anyway.

Oh dear we're getting glory supporters already, stick with your Palace flags guys, things might pick up.

Why do they think they own every chant for christ sake? Nick a flag for every chant they've nicked off us... Oh please. Get over yourselves.

To be fair, that's the biggest compliment they could give to our support. Obviously got to them.

They're not used to being completely drowned out, especially when they get smug and try to "own" We Love You.

Most home atmospheres in the league are pretty stale, including ours before the last nine months or so in fairness. They go from ground to ground thinking they're the dogs bollocks.

Yesterday they were naff in the stands, naff on the pitch and apparently felt the need to attempt petty point scoring to repair their egos.

Pretty sure posing with captured flags should be done with flags you've taken with a bit of bottle in a ruck, not chav'd out of an empty stadium when the security have nodded off and the fans have all gone home celebrating a win.

Tragic. lol

It does go to show that there isn't a lot of ultra in them - capturing flags on the continent is a major coup and requires serious risks being taken, it's why it's considered a real macho act after all.

If nothing else though, it'll give them something to boast about once half term is out of the way.

I wouldn't hold out much hope of them being returned without official intervention. These are kids who desperately want to be noticed and feared. They are probably still giggling like the school children that most of them are. Sneaking into an empty stadium to take them is worse than embarrassing. I wonder how long they sat there plotting it. Palace fans have dropped so far in my estimations after this weekend. They are a laughing stock.

The CCTV in the ground is awsome so they will have caught it. Hopefully they didn't cover their faces.

they really are a pathetic set of fans, all sad wannabes wearing their t-shirts and calling themselves "ultras". they were quiet as well, I thought the same last year

People here maybe don't understand but ultras scene really have got some 'code of conduct'. One of 'rules' is to defend your colours (banners, scarfs) no matter what.

At the same time, like Bilo said, capturing flags on the continent is a major coup and requires serious risks being taken, 'in battle'.
As HF pretend to be real ultras, they broken rules by stealing flags unattended.

Another 'rule' is no calling officials/police on opposing fans, so reporting them to the club/OB will show 'whole world' that Union FS is not serious, real ultra firm.
The problem lies here: UFS is not ultra group, just a group of fans committed to improving the match atmosphere home and away.

This must be and will be sorted unofficial.
