steveherbe Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 I can't stop laughing over this, childish act and response. Just ignore the pathetic pric ks instead of public ally fuelling their sad little egos. No doubt you will be contributing a few quid to get them replaced then? They are someones property that has been stolen. If they were mine, the police would have been informed by now, especially with the evidence that photograph supplies.
AlphaMaleFox Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Holmesdale Fanatics are shower of pvsssies. If you really must capture other club flag, this is the proper way to do it - otherwise you are just common thieves.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Best thing you can do rather than resort to violence or bring yourself down to their level is contact the main organisers of the Holmsdale Fanatics and explain the situation whilst asking for help to identify the individuals so that you can report them to the authorities. It puts them in an awkward position then. They either self police and give up the culprits or completely ignore you and open themselves up to a load of negative press, which I doubt they'll want given; a) that the media seem to view them as the saviours of football atmosphere, b) the premier league's stance to portray a sterile, non hostile, family friendly, and all embracing environment. If they don't co-operate I'd be tempted to raise awareness within the football community via social media and hope that the media have a quiet day and latch on to it. It won't do their reputation amongst fellow fans much good at all. One of the strengths of Union FS has been their well written articles/press releases. They should write quite a lenghty one - articulate, reasoned and calm - explaining how this goes against everything that football supporters should be trying to achieve together (protesting together to reduce prices, creating atmospheres within grounds and supporting their teams without any throwback to the 80s). Groups like theirs and ours should have a friendly rivalry but a mutual respect - we're all wanting the same end goal ultimately. Make an appeal for the flags back and for their group to self-police and deal with this in a manner a bit more mature than posting pathetic pictures like that on Facebook.
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Palace are the sort of fans that come out for the bigs games all stone island up yet when it comes to it shut themselves. My impression from spending a considerable amount of time surrounded by them on the train back to London yesterday was that they're like some strange hybrid of Green Street and TOWIE. Rather amusing but pretty bizarre.
lifted*fox Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Might also be worth reporting it to the people at CPFC. Showing them this might cause them to tighten up on their 'ultras' a little bit and that'll really hit them where it hurts.

Corky Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Fvckin hell we went at the Lesta lot and took there end and there flags CPFC ultras 4ever.

The point I was making was re THEIR pathetic actions Steve and some of the OTT retribution chat. Theft is theft and that's wrong! Acknowledging them on here and saying stuff on other social media will do nothing other than fuel their childish pathetic egos is my opinion and I believe I am entitled to one? And if suggestions like storming pubs and retribution are sensible mature responses are they?
deejdeej Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 Palace were very quiet, Kop was bouncing towards the end. Palace ultra's haha what a joke.

I'm just bloody annoyed about it, we were going to leave our flags up too, but will be taking them to wba, so bought them home with us. As others have pointed out, we are all football fans, and actions like this theft go against the wider football family. Sure, get in the ground and abuse each other for 90 minutes, thats all part of the football experience, and what makes it unique. I used to quite admire the HF group, but now see all of them as thieving scum. I will be sending CPFC an email later today to see what they think about it, and hopefully they will contact HF and at least elicit an apology from them. I'd be disgusted if any of our fans ever stooped this low.And I hope the knee jerk proposed retribution doesnt happen, we are better than that.

Totally agree pal on all points, their so called fans are the ones who have been pathetic dicos and will get slaughtered for being nobs not ours!
Larry_LCFC Posted 25 October 2015 Author Posted 25 October 2015 Has it definitely be confirmed these have been stolen now? I wouldn't just let it lie. It's theft at the end of the day and there is good evidence available. The police should be involved. I'd also be interested to know from the club how Palace fans managed to get into an empty stadium unchallenged and take them in the first place. Proves what cvnts palace really are.

Yes they have been taken. Suspicion for me remains palace fans got tickets in our end.
steveherbe Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 I've emailed CPFC customer services and asked them to pass on to their Supporters Liason Officer or director responsible for supporters. Also posted up on their HF forum. Was very polite - not like me! - just asking for a response from CPFC and the return of our flags. Hopefully I get a positive response from one of them, I'll update here as and when. It has annoyed me though, as you can probably tell. Thieving from fellow football fans is simply not on. And we dont want any retaliatory strikes at the away game, we are better than that. Ultras or not, theft is wrong. Rant over, hope I've not overstepped the mark.
purpleronnie Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 yeah think you missed my point. ultras fighting and getting one over on other ultras has been going on since football began. but not how palace did it. they've shown themselves to be rats, not warriors like real ultras would be. like I said some juventus nutter or something wouldn't be seen dead spending a whole game in a lazio end sat on his hands waiting for everyone to go home before taking a flag to post the pic on Facebook. he'd have a fight for it. palace are just lil bitches Ah I see, yep I agree.

Two wrongs don't make a right but if they are not returned I wouldn't blame people for stealing some of there flags to see how they like. I would if mine had been stolen.
KFS Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 The best thing about this is the way the UFS guys are handling it. Top class group, hope it drives you all on even more.
Larry_LCFC Posted 25 October 2015 Author Posted 25 October 2015 The jealousy amongst their fans is hilarious. The comments on that Facebook page, fvck me. Just because we out do them, it suddenly means we're copying them. Grow up you stains, you're just a bunch of chavvish children with a few flags.
Captain... Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 If they return them in good spirit fair play to them it's pretty funny to sneak in and Nick some flags if they are happy to return them. Best not to get too pissed off and aggressive about it just yet, could just be a good bit of fun or turn nasty. Nobody wants it to turn nasty as it could jeopardise what both the Palace Ultras and Union FS are trying to achieve.

HF05 It seems that they don't like us... Other than laughing at the whole pathetic nature of this ultra wanabee nonsense, the only thing i keep thinking is "you take the banners, we'll take the points.....ya mugs"
Captain... Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 If they aren't returned or get damaged I'd be happy to chuck in a few quid help get them replaced as I'm sure others on here would.
steveherbe Posted 25 October 2015 Posted 25 October 2015 The best thing about this is the way the UFS guys are handling it. Top class group, hope it drives you all on even more. But how are ufs handling it? I've seen nothing yet hence my involvement. If ufs post here and tell me to burr out, quite happy to so so. So far, stony silence. Start a new thread so we all know what's happening ffs
Larry_LCFC Posted 25 October 2015 Author Posted 25 October 2015 What's the response on the cpfc forum been?

So far, stony silence. Start a new thread so we all know what's happening ffs Hopefully they have got in touch and asked for the flags back over a pint. I would say that UFS and Palace ultras have a lot in common and getting involved in a bullshit rivalry will do neither group any favours. As a joke or prank fair play to Palace but if it becomes a matter of theft then it will damage what is a generally a positive reputation for them, likewise any sort of retaliation would damage UFS's relationship with the club. I would also think it is best not to communicate through moron magnets like Facebook, Twitter and fan forums.
