Palace fans take Union FS flags

Their end was sold out wasn't it? Willing to bet it was one or two of the mugs who managed to get tickets in our end. Not sure how they'd manage it otherwise.

Edit - although I guess they could have walked around and into the ground after.

Really low.

One of the sub ticket offices was still selling tickets in the away end.

Poor form if true. Hardly a great advert for there so called ultras. To have walked in and tried to take them yes. To sneak round into an empty stand sad.

I was planning to take mine and leave it from next week. But as it cost me over a ton a few years back. Maybe not.

I've got a few ideas about how to stop this happening again, dont let these children put you off.

Convinced there were two Palace fans sat behind me, which would have been SK1 top row seat 12ish. They weren't cheering or getting involved with anything and then I heard one of them say to the other "shut up we're at Leicester" :dunno: close enough to have taken flags if it's true they've been stolen!

Definitely not nicked. I was one of the last people out of the ground, and those flags were still there. Interesting the photo shows our flags upside down?

It's a thing from Europe and quite pathetic. You steal your oppositions flag and put them upside down as a sign of offence towards the opposition.

Really pathetic really and typical of a small section of Palace's support what think they are from Naples or Milan, not Croydon.

Bit of a downer the way some fans reacted to Mahrez playing poorly. First underwhelming performance in about 6 months (bar B'mouth where he got murdered 20 secs in)

I'm not adding to the downer on Mahrez because he has been great this season, And the type of player he is some games things are not going to work out - I cite Arsenal where he was abysmal - but you have to take the rough with the smooth. He cannot be consistantly brilliant.

Just dropped jim at fanzone a message re flags apols if someone's already contacted the club.

Pretty pathetic by palace 'ultras'...

Not fake it's true apparently. Scum.

That's shit. What's up with these people? We're not at war, we're not rivals. Just two similar clubs. A lot of time, effort and money went into those banners.

Look at the mongrels favouriting and retweeting it- they're your first port of call

It's real then? How and why have they got any where near your flags??

Best thing you can do rather than resort to violence or bring yourself down to their level is contact the main organisers of the Holmsdale Fanatics and explain the situation whilst asking for help to identify the individuals so that you can report them to the authorities.

It puts them in an awkward position then. They either self police and give up the culprits or completely ignore you and open themselves up to a load of negative press, which I doubt they'll want given; a) that the media seem to view them as the saviours of football atmosphere, b) the premier league's stance to portray a sterile, non hostile, family friendly, and all embracing environment.

If they don't co-operate I'd be tempted to raise awareness within the football community via social media and hope that the media have a quiet day and latch on to it. It won't do their reputation amongst fellow fans much good at all.
