Finnaldo Posted 2 November 2015 Posted 2 November 2015 Met Jacko a few times, was always a top guy. Absolutely awful when I heard. Rest in peace mate.
Wymsey Posted 2 November 2015 Posted 2 November 2015 I presume there's a picture of him somewhere? Quite a few Jack lcfc's on social media, some of whom I've seen before.
5waller5 Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Shilton Fox ..... Check your inbox mate..... I've sent you the email address of the person to send your tribute to at the club. They're expecting your message.
5waller5 Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 I've emailed Louise to warn her that you'll message her and to look out for the message Shilton Fox. However it's just bounced so hold off on your message whilst I check the email address is correct!!!
Babylon Posted 3 November 2015 Posted 3 November 2015 Hi. I've just been made aware of this! It's Jacko's dad, Shaun. We are going through the worst time of our lives but this post has just made things so much easier. Jacko was a huge City fan from when I first took him at 4 years old. He loved the club, the players but most of all his fellow fans. Wherever he went he told everyone about how we have the greatest fans in the world. He sat in L1 of course! Me and his big Bro, Will, will be there on Saturday and will be having a few beers at the Local Hero, as always, before the game. Would love to catch up with anyone who knew Jacko. Thank you everyone for your kind words. Up the City! Condolences to you and your family!

justfoxes Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Such a sad thing to hear RIP Jack my thoughts and prayers to your family at this sad time ! #LCFCFamily
Aleksz Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 So sad to hear this over the weekend. Didn't know Jack myself but i am familiar with so many of his friends who haven't got a single bad word to say about him and that he had time for everybody. In fact i probably know the initial poster to be honest (shilton_fox). RIP Jack.
scarboro flyer Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 There are numerous threads going around on Facebook and twitter to pay tribute to Jack with applause in the 20th minute. I understand peoples comments that we cant do this every time one of our fans passes away. I ask you to consider the following........ Only 10 days ago Jack was a 20yr old young man with his whole life ahead of him. Like many people his age, his life revolved around his family his loyal friends and his biggest love, Leicester City. This was until he was cruelly taken by this terrible illness which took him from so many people who loved and cared for him. The loss of Jack has created a hole in so many lives, most of all his lovely family. The "LCFC family" is a close knit one. Please back the tribute on Saturday v Watford, with applause in the 20th minute. This will mean so much to everyone who knew this lovely young man. Thanks.... #20thminuteforJackPatrick
Lcfc_lass10 Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Seen him at so many different away games over the past few seasons. It's such sad news, RIP Jack.

Carter The Boss Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 As I've stated before I'd like it if the club did a tribute to all city fans lost at the last home game each season, rather than just those who use the power of the Internet and social media. Whether that's names, or messages, or images on the screens. That way everyone can have someone remembered if they would like them to be. We can all then pay respects to all the fans lost if we wish to. Love this idea. 1 or 2 minute round of applause with a montage or something would be great. Sort of like the bit they do during Sports personality with the people who have died over the last year. Nice.

Ask all families to request having a picture of the deceased, to be shown on screens for the last home game, to be given to the club as well as their d.o.b's and date of death, plus short message next to picture etc.
Guest safetosurfthisbeach Posted 4 November 2015 Posted 4 November 2015 Never met the guy but will happily join in any tribute at 20 minutes. Sounds like a top bloke....and so young. Tragic. Cannot understand why people are critical of these tributes - this guy clearly loved the club. If a few hundred fans sing his name for 30 secs that will mean everything to his family.....and what will it cost us? Nothing. Tributes sung like this show the world that the fans are a team too...... and that we look after our own. Sing our hearts out....... remember how lucky we are to still have two healthy functioning lungs.

glen parva fox Posted 6 November 2015 Posted 6 November 2015 I'm in, this is a Leicester family RIP Jack
Guest Posted 7 November 2015 Posted 7 November 2015 Hi all dont post on here very often, but have lost my best mate, this weekend at the age of 20 to a very rare lung disease. He followed Leicester home and away avidly and many im sure will have had a beer with him. I know a tribute at the football would mean the world to him and his family. Just wondering what sort of things people can suggest to do this? Thanks Really sorry for your loss mate. Maybe a collection towards a relevant charity that works towards helping prevent such rare diseases could be an idea. No age at all to go.

The club will do him a great honour tomorrow by beating Watford. All the best.
