Our away support

Thought our support at Swansea was terrific again. I was at the game and when you are in the middle of it, you can't always tell what it sounds like. However, on the TV, all you could hear was our fans. It's been like that most of the season. Can't remember the last time we were out drowned out in terms of noise, home or away.

sounded loud yesterday but there was also a lot of pathetic chants like everywhere we go and you're ****ing shit. Stuff like that needs addressing as the potential is clearly there for our away ends.

On the radio especially after full time I think it was, the 'Ranieri oh!' chant was so loud.

As Una said you're flucking shit reared it's ugly head when we were 3-0 up. To think we were ripping the piss out of Southampton for chanting that, too.

Not related but the ever-predictable God Save the bloody Queen made an appearance; predictable and pathetic, do we need to do that every time we play a Welsh team?

The city crowd of travelling fans, has on proportion/relation to size and immaterial of teams position,

have always been, good away supporters, in chants and number that travel to all corners.

Equal to the 2 scouser clubs and Leeds Whos fans actually travel, unlike some who recruit on game day the local

Plastic followers.

That's a chant we've used for as long as I can remember and my 1st match was at Filbert Street back in 93 or 94. Oh and the f-word isn't there, when the oppposition keeper takes a goal kick the fans chant "awwwwww" followed by "you're shit" as he strikes the ball.

Not something that needs addressing to be fair, it's just banter.

I'm not on about that.

I didn't hear anything negative other than that from our fans yesterday. The Swansea fans were chanting a word that rhymes with anchor at Vardy, but didn't hear much negative other than that.

Our away support is nothing on our home support these days. Can't get my head around why our fans are more bothered about the opposition fans than our own team.

on the tv i could hear "we are staying up"

it wouldnt have been swansea fans would it?

Nah that's ours, and that in fairness is one of the ones we need to keep up all bloody season. It's a fantastic two fingers up at everyone.

Ner wernt them mate, they are ****ing doomed.

The only swearing chant I've enjoyed so far is "you're just a shit Jamie Vardy" to Wayne Rooney. I find the rest pretty cringeworthy.

Still join in mind, so I'm a massive hypocrite

Dear lord there's a lot of prissy knickers on here, at least we go and support the team!

we'll sing what we want, we'll sing what we wannnnnt, We're Leicester City, we'll sing what we want

Our away ends have been really weird this season, sometimes they've been very good but if we're not winning there's no interest in singing at all from 95% of people. Then we get a goal or two, every perks up and starts singing 'Everywhere we go' constantly, and as Dan said, most people seem more concerned with taking the piss out of the home fans than supporting City. Then there's the quandary of 'concourse scenes' where lads just film each other jumping up and down in the concourse and then proceed to check their accumulators and Twitter feeds while the game in taking place. Have said that there have been some decent moment, my favourite was at West Brom, the Raneiri song seemed to go on for about 5 minutes after we went 3-1 up!

All a bit odd really.

Wasn't the best yesterday. Long periods of silence and a lot of crap like chat shit get banged. And the your ****ing shit.

Loud in periods at times. The ranieri song and leo was good.

But definitely still room for improvement.

We all seem to be so loving of our start yet at times it seemed flat.

If we're going to stay in the top 6 we need to start addressing some of the dross sung in our away ends. "You're f**king s**t" oleing at 2-0 up with the second half still to go. (Remember Southampton and Villa?) also "everywhere we go" needs to go in the bin. Half the football league sings it, why can't we be original?

Basically summed up why our support isn't great away from home. We sing about 4/5 generic chants like that and that's about it.

Our away ends seem to be full of concourse instagram casual-type banter boys now. Half-arsed moshpits filmed on phones for likes followed by whatever song's been doing the rounds on Youtoob the week before at Man U/Palace/Celtic/Bradford/Stevenage over and over and over again at a trillion cvnting miles an hour.

I ****ing hate that you're ****ing shit and chat shit get banged chants.

Thought overall yesterday was pretty decent. As Dan said the "we are staying up" is a huge **** you to those who doubted us.

Thought West Ham was probably our best end this season. That was a great atmosphere.

I will never ever understand it though when our fans make no noise for ages, only to then pop up and have a snipe at the opposition 'shit support'. It's embarrassing. Nothing against it if we're genuinely making all the noise but that's rarely the case away.
