You don't get made rogue for firing an errant shot into someone, and even if you fire more than one the initial timer is only 15 seconds and it's fairly easy to keep your head down for that long. If you empty a clip into someone or kill them it's 90s. There wasn't really much incentive not to go rogue in the beta given the lack of progression, it'll be different when people have more to lose.

I like this element of the Dark zone because of the element of risk. Of knowing of not to trust the people you're walking around with. I've played Duo with my mate at the weekend on this, and me and a few other players we ran into went about our business in extracting loot from the zone. The next extraction, the other duo we were with turned on us and were marked as rogue, after 2/3 minutes of play me and my mate defeated them and looted all their stuff. It was a blast.

Adster Posted 10 February 2016 Author Posted 10 February 2016 For anyone who missed the closed beta for this, Ubisoft are opening another beta that's open to all players. Starting for Xbox players on 18th Feb, and for PS4 players on the 19th, accross the whole weekend. I'm excited to give this another go before release. I wonder if they'll put in much different content to the closed beta.

I hear Capcom have played a blinder with Street Fighter 5. Apparently releasing the game, incomplete, for a full £40 plus. Just what is gaming coming to at the minute? Day one patches are acceptable, thanks for the 8GB A Creed Ubisoft, but Capcom have taken it a step further with this. It's unacceptable.

Preordered it now The same with every game anyone has ever played in the history of gaming. Gaming is always more fun when you know what you're doing. I've had this game pre-ordered for a while and they've pretty much fixed/implemented in this beta everything I thought was wrong with the closed beta. Impressed.

I don't know whether it is just me but I have noticed blood now I don't think I did on the closed. Other than that and the new 'tech' mission what's changed? It might help me notice the new things hehe

Their two main excuses are most of their player base want to play online so they'd rather have it out for those players and update the game than delay it, and that they aren't going to charge for dlc or release super street fighter v arcade edition champion update etc etc. Which I'd buy if their servers were any cop (they aren't, their awful, and down for maintainence for three hours tonight) or there was any reason they why releasing an unfinished game and not making 25 pound glorified updates were in anyway related at all.

There's still things I'd improve on this but (like Destiny) this game will be a lot of fun to play. I can easily see the MMORPG elements and I've always loved MMO's so this is a positive for me. I've already had a lot of fun with this game with friends. I'll definitely be picking this up on release.
Neil_LCFC Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 Gunplay was solid but think it will get pretty boring and repetitive fast. Think I will pass on it and stick with R6 Siege , prefer the look of PVZGW2 to this . Loved the first one as well.

The People's Hero Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 My new PC turns up fri/sat and my mate wanted a blast last night. Even on low settings this is pretty demanding so don't bother if your spec is below the minimum/recommended. It's basically unplayable due to stuttering if so. This is on an i5 with 8gb ram and a gtx660m so not the best GPU in the world. My mate really enjoyed it though and from what I've seen im really looking forward to having a proper go.

They actually got Street Fighter sent back to them as it was supposed to arrive Tuesday and didn't even turn up till Thursday or Friday. When it didn't turn up on Weds I just thought fork it and got if from Tesco, one day I can just about understand one day but when you order something that is supposed to guaranteed delivered on launch day and come 48 hours after it's release it is still not on your door mate I am sorry you can get forked. Especially if you've stopped using Royal Mail and now run your own delivery service I just buy my games from the nearest super market on release now, never had a problem with stock.

I've never actually had a bad experience with Amazon until this. But I won't be using them again based on this. But I equally share your view. I pre-ordered this September LAST YEAR and it's embarassing that it's not here on time. What's even more ****ed is that my mate 2 minutes down the road recieved his from Royal Mail and I didn't! Laughable really. I won't be able to play it tonight anyway but if it's not here today I'm going to get Amazon to cancel my order and just go and grab it from Asda/Tesco instead.
