I pre-ordered this September LAST YEAR and it's embarassing that it's not here on time. What's even more ****ed is that my mate 2 minutes down the road recieved his from Royal Mail and I didn't! Laughable really. I won't be able to play it tonight anyway but if it's not here today I'm going to get Amazon to cancel my order and just go and grab it from Asda/Tesco instead. Had Several, if I order a new game from them I do so full in the knowledge there is a good chance they will miss launch day and it will arrive the day after, unfortunately this was a gift so it wasn't my decision to use them as a couple, but two days was just a piss take, unacceptable. I get they don't want early delivery, but the sodding servers weren't even up till launch day so I don't even see the problem.

Nowadays it makes no different whether the product arrives early because as you've said the servers won't come online until a few hours before our timezone etc. It's really annoying. My order has been stuck at the Hinckley delivery office since 6am yesterday and nothing has happening since then. Amazon have contacted Royal Mail but I've got a pre-paid return slip ready to send it back if it's not here by Thursday (Thursday is the next time i'll be able to play). I want to ideally keep my Amazon order because I ordered the Gold edition from there. I'm going to pick up a copy of it tonight from Asda so if it's not at my house from Amazon on Thursday I can still play. All a big hassle really just because Royal Mail are incompetent.
IOWFOX Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 I miss the old days of putting in a disc and being able to play straight away. Turned on the xo at 6, had to update the console and install the game. That has taken an hour and now the game has got a 2.6gb update ffs!

Bryn Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Yep it's fun, I played the Beta and was dubious but I said from the limited gameplay that there was a game in there if they got it right and it's a good start. Obvs it's Ubisoft so they're gonna XPack the **** out of it so there's more to come.
dbtcity Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 I never got round to the beta version but the couple of hours I've managed to get in since buying it I'm really enjoying the game, just been taking it easy roaming round looting and pulling a few missions in but it's a lot better than I expected, I'm a guy that rarely ventures away from cod Fifa and fm but I'm glad I took the punt and invested

I've been putting in a lot of miles and can't find a new jacket anywhere. And when I enter the DZ I'm not levelled up enough not to get merked. Man just wants some fresh garmz

Adster Posted 21 March 2016 Author Posted 21 March 2016 I am loving this game. However they need to fix the dark zone rogue system to really make the dark zone exciting. Currently the Dark Zone is just another PvE grind for dz level/funds.

It was quite clear all over the internet that the enemies were bullet sponges. It's an RPG, meaning they'll always be bullet sponges. In other news, Ubisoft have just released patch notes for update 1.0.2 and they've added what I hoped they would to the dark zone. Now you won't lose as much dz funds/XP if you die (as rogue and non-rogue) and now the rewards are greater for surviving as a rogue and killing rogue players. I'm glad this will (hopefully) encourage more PvP in the darkzone.

The Dark Zone is only fun when you're playing with a group of friends. I wouldn't bother really going in on your own, unless you plan to actually group up (invite them) with Random players, which again, is not recommended.
