Wilson_6 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 I took my son to the Mansfield match this pre season. He was just 3 he loved it.
Wilson_6 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Cant remember the first match i went to but i do remember being at the Derby 0-4 Leicester match in 1998 so i guess i would have been 9. Also Remember me and my dad running through the Eagle centre afterwards shouting Leicester haha.

goose2010 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Tuesday 9th April 1996 so I was 12. In the top of the double decker with my mate and his dad we lost 2-1 to West Brom and they both supported West Brom. If I remember correctly Richard Sneakers scored a thunderbolt with about 5 minutes to go.
gjp Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 76 I think aged 10 V Bristol City. Chris Garland played for us and then we sold him to Bristol City,His home club . I used to See Chris walking around Clifton in Bristol quite often. Usually on his way to the Bookies. He sadly then was diagnosed with Parkinson's . Great Player. Great Memories.
joeasis Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 I was took to a friendly as a nipper, don't remember that very well but my first game at filbert street was when I was 5! 5-2 against Sunderland! That Collymore hat-trick..
Mayofox Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 Aged 11 in Aug 1966. Beat West Ham 5-4. I thought for a long time after that that there were 9 goals in each match. World Cup winners Banks, Moore, Hurst & Peters played. Have to own up that when I was 4 Dad took me to Forest v Blackpool, so I could tell my grandkids I saw Stanley Matthews play.
Freesolo Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 1995 Prem season already relegated 13 years old vs Norwich sat in the Kop with my dad, didn't miss a home game for four years after that. Leicester are my first love. So many great memories
Thracian Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 1957 I think, so I'd have been eight. Arthur Rowley scored with his "wrong" foot. Walked down to the match with my grand father from his house in Livingstone Street. Had never seen so many people. Residents didn't complain though - but made a few bob charging for bikes to be left in their entries. Don't think theft was ever a worry.
Fox1968 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 F A Cup 5th round in March 1969, home to Liverpool, aged 9. My Dad got us tickets for the Kop and I then went spare for what seemed like weeks as the game got postponed 6 times. Completely blown away by the crowd, the noise and so much going on around me. City drew 0-0 but won the replay at Anfield TWO days later thanks to an Andy Lochhead header and Shilton saving a Tommy Smith penalty. Seem to remember seeing the Mercury the following day full of photos of Leicester coaches with smashed windows. On to Wembley we went.
Ian S Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 FA Cup final 1969,my grandad got myself and my dad tickets.Vaguely recall crying most of the way home.Little did I know it would be far from the last time my beloved team would have me in tears! Aged 7.
Koke Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 12 years old in 1997. Lost 3-1 at home to Middlesbrough in the Premier League.
Arriba Los Zorros Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 1-1 v Blackburn in 1997 when I was 8. Just googled and Muzzy scored our goal, don't remember that though
Kinowe Soorie Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 12 years old in 1997. Lost 3-1 at home to Middlesbrough in the Premier League. That game was a blessing in disguise!!
Bayfox Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 That game was a blessing in disguise!! Yep they took us to pieces that game, juniniho and gazza, did gazza score from a free kick. Learnt our lesson .

She says she used to earn pocket money to last a month on Sawday Street by looking after the bikes.
Rialto 290352 Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 For me 9, the 1961 FA Cup final. Ruined by the broken leg suffered by Len Chalmers.
DangerFox Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 I was 5 and it cost my dad £1 to get me in and £2 for himself. We had member cards that looked like the shape of the stadium. 86/87 season I think. Bristol City I think.
Jace Posted 26 January 2016 Author Posted 26 January 2016 I always thought there was a minimum age of 3? Might be right I was told 2 but the guy sat in front of us told me he tried to take his daughter but he wasn't allowed as she was 2 and a half
Freesolo Posted 26 January 2016 Posted 26 January 2016 8 years old. Play off final 1996 - Wembley. Leicester 2-1 Crystal Palace. What a game to get your first taste of Leicester!
