It's a lot of money for us historically but if we've aspirations of playing in the champions league (let that sink in a minute) and the club think he can be the difference between us being there and not? Well, then it's worth it.

Were in for Eder but cooled interest once he favoured Inter, now pursuing Musa target. If you go on every other Prem team forum, you will see a load of names linked in their transfer section. It's the way it works I'm afraid. Totally disagree we are looking desperate!

How exactly is the club supposed to do that? Nobody within the club has, nor will talk about any potential target. No, we are not looking desperate. FFS, if we weren't being linked with any players people would find the opposite to moan about.
maddog Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 I feel we are looking like a desperate club trying to buy a Striker and its not a good position to be in, clubs are hiking up prices players must know they are our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, choice which is not good for morale i wish this could have been kept quiet because its turning into a bit of a joke No we are not. Most of these so called bids flying around will simply be agents getting their player out in the newspapers to attract interest. We need a striker we only have three now. Its not desperation its necessity. All these so called bids have been doing the media rounds ever since Claudio said we want a 4th striker, coincidence I don't think so. Wouldn't be surprised to see us sign a striker that no newspaper has even mentioned.

Ric Flair Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 We now have a reputation of being one of the best clubs for recruiting players so you'll find rivals taking note of who we are in for and may well push them to bid as well. I'm not saying clubs are hanging about waiting until we bid and just following us but the hype around Mahrez, Vardy and Kante will have got clubs talking about us. It's frustrating and i'm sure our club want our targets kept unpublicised until it's done but that'll never be the case with agents.

Do you really think we would of took Kramaric off our books if we didn't have a potential transfer close to completion!? papers are going to link with anyone and everyone now because they know we want a striker. The club isn't going to come out and say we are trying to sell this players for obvious reasons.

He doesn't suit our style of play so I think The club with loan him out no matter what at this point.

RobHawk Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 For those of you panicking, think of the transfer window like a good game of poker. You won't know who's won until the final cards go down. Before then there will be bluffing double guessing, some cards on the table and lots of money involved. Relax, and if you really can't, avoid the internet until the window closes, you're embarrassing yourself!
