Freesolo Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 I feel we are looking like a desperate club trying to buy a Striker and its not a good position to be in, clubs are hiking up prices players must know they are our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, choice which is not good for morale i wish this could have been kept quiet because its turning into a bit of a joke
SheppyFox Posted 28 January 2016 Posted 28 January 2016 I think we were just clever to prepare so many targets and need to remember we are Leicester, not Real Madrid and we won't be able to attract everyone we want because of what a lot of outsiders consider a lucky year.. Having said that I am disappointed we haven't landed someone yet

No one really knows what is happening behind the scenes. And even so, the current strikeforce has us top of the premiership. Even without any additions we are no worse off than before as Kramaric going out on loan makes absolutely zero difference to our team as he was never involved. If we don't get anyone in it doesn't really make that much of a difference. We still have Vardy, Okazaki and Ulloa.

The summer is a far more important window for us. I would be more than happy to add a young player with something to prove, who we could mould around our team than buy for the sake of it. The only people who are desperate are the journos and some of the fans.

All the rumours we see in the tabloids could just be paper talk, agents trying to get better deals, etc. Hell we might not even be in for Musa. I wouldn't trust what the papers say, but I 100% trust Walsh and Ranieri to get it right.
