huddersfieldfox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Does anyone know what the prize money is for ending the season in the top 4, yes being in the champions league brings us more plus tv. So all is looking good. Money money money
Wymsey Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 Is this useful? http://www.cityam.com/232007/fa-cup-third-round-how-much-is-winning-worth-how-its-prize-money-compares-to-the-champions-league-and-premier-league
Fox92 Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I don't know if it's changed but last season -14/15 - Manchester United received £93.45million for finishing fourth. Obviously that is everything in total ie share of tv deal and the actual money for finishing fourth.
WesMorganGod Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 It will probably be around 100 million if we finished forth and get into the champions league groups. As someone else said previously it was always around 90 million and the TV money goes up every season.

MPH Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 What's with the facility fee spiking for 7th place? European qualigication?
crazies Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 according to data the team that finished 7th was shown more live matches on 2015 season so its just based on previous data as stated in the big bubble at the top i guess ?
Hamstonian Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 What's with the facility fee spiking for 7th place? It appears that the graphic is based on 2013-2014 season. MU finished 7th. That column was based on the number of times they were broadcast on live TV.
crazies Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2015-16/jun/020615-premier-league-payments-to-clubs-in-season-2014-15.html newcastle finished below us last year and got paid more for the same reason
DangerFox Posted 29 January 2016 Posted 29 January 2016 I read somewhere recently it'll be between £100-150 million for the top 4 Premier League finish and possibly another £75-100million to compete in the Champions League. With the amount of made up press that floats around though, you never know!
Wizerud Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 Can't remember where I heard it but it scales from around $100m if you finish bottom up to $140m if you finish top.
foxfanazer Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 who remembers our $30,000 per week limit It's still going don't ya know!
ozleicester Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 It's still going don't ya know! and rightly so!... imagine paying Vards, or Mahrez anything more than a tenner and a packet of smash!
Fox92 Posted 30 January 2016 Posted 30 January 2016 and rightly so!... imagine paying Vards, or Mahrez anything more than a tenner and a packet of smash! A club such as ourselves still has to be careful though. Don't want to throw money around just because we can. Plenty of examples of clubs similar to ourselves in strong financial positions and then spent too much. Look at Portsmouth and Leeds.
