StanSP Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 They really do know how to pull out all the stops and go the extra mile. Obviously there's the yearly remembrance of Bernard Murphy (Everton fan who passed away outside the stadium in 2004). Last year they did this: Now it's just been posted online that the club have done it once again for a 9-year old who recently lost his mother to cancer and fulfilled a wish for the kid: Incredible, really.
Guest Bilo Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 I love our club, I really do. There's so much for us to be proud of both on and off the field.
TJB-fox Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 I love our club, I really do. There's so much for us to be proud of both on and off the field. Basically this, I can't really say anything more. Just love Leicester
Foxxed Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Fantastic to see the club helping those in the community, few institution that do it these days.
Larry_LCFC Posted 21 February 2016 Posted 21 February 2016 Was about to post the same thing. Sport Bible have picked up on it. Well played LCFC.
Thracian Posted 22 February 2016 Posted 22 February 2016 Wonderful response - and so typical of a club that's exuding class in every way these days. It makes me very proud.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 22 February 2016 Posted 22 February 2016 I love our club, I really do. There's so much for us to be proud of both on and off the field. Very much this
Jon the Hat Posted 22 February 2016 Posted 22 February 2016 Nice. Little things, but show the club actually cares about its community and its reputation.
David Lowe Posted 23 February 2016 Posted 23 February 2016 A good response, they seem to be very good at the moment with this type of thing.
foxfanazer Posted 23 February 2016 Posted 23 February 2016 Brilliant from the club. However much the club grows I hope it stays a family club
bluebeau Posted 23 February 2016 Posted 23 February 2016 When all is said & done, LCFC is a commercial business out to make a profit, so how really good it is to hear of the football club doing such things as we have been told about on this forum. Fantastic, our owners/directors have generous hearts & sincere feelings for others less fortunate than themselves. I am so proud of our club!
KarlosSK4-LCFC4-ever! Posted 23 February 2016 Posted 23 February 2016 Proud to be LCFC, Also must say a lot about the culture in Thailand,
sdb Posted 23 February 2016 Posted 23 February 2016 I can empathise with that lad having lost my mum at 8 years old. Cannot speak highly enough of what that gesture will mean to the lad, not just in the coming weeks & days, but for the rest of his life. Very proud!!!
SystonFox Posted 25 February 2016 Posted 25 February 2016 I've got tears. I'm welling up. I love this club. Leicester til I die
