Voll Blau Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Not recent, but I just stumbled across this blog on the work of various clubs with their local breweries. Everards seem to do a lot with the city and county's other sports clubs, and it's almost ubiquitous to see the local brew sold at grounds I've visited in Germany. What do people reckon to getting more local beer (not necessarily just Everards) on sale at the ground? http://outsidewrite.co.uk/local-beer-for-local-football/
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Tiger in the ground would tempt me to actually drink there rather than just staying in the pub
RoboFox Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Gotta be better than some of the pish that I've tasted there over the years. Having said that, I like Singha.

Bryn Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Be grateful you've got Singha which is a decent lager. Could be Carling or Fosters...

boots60 Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 A drop of real ale would be a good idea but theres no way our unsung heroes in the refreshment outlets would be able to keep it in good nick if its only being sold for a few hours every fortnight.
Guest Bob Hazels shorts Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Singha put a lot of money in to the club and making big in roads with clubs and generally inc owning hotels inc the Grand. Supporters have done well with a couple of free beers, can't see others doing that
Sir Shep Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Charnwood brewery are fast becoming very popular so it'd be nice to see them in there.
lestajigs Posted 3 March 2016 Posted 3 March 2016 Tbf the singha beer here is one of the best I've had at a football ground
Sionnach gorm Posted 4 March 2016 Posted 4 March 2016 I just can't enjoy beer in plastic cups True. It's a real problem.
