ramboacdc Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 a certain someone broke into the match day squad (all be it on the subs bench) can you spot who? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_1/9415413.stm
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 More intrigued as to who Shclupp is on the bench??
isaidno Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 My timehop today is me moaning about the match. ' Where's the width '
Leeds Fox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 What a guy. Imagine having to go back to these match reports and that's all we have between the games. Now all over Twitter, SSN etc where mentioned every second story, if not more!
Fox92 Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 I was at Rotherham away on that Tuesday night when he scored a hat trick. Couldn't believe it.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 We were shit that night. How much money were some of them on?!
LCFC FOX Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 That team... lol you say that but that was one our better teams over the last ten years. The season we had a load on loan was actually good. Unlike when Sven actually signed players.
MC Prussian Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Some interesting teams in the Championship at the time. Look where they've all ended up: QPR Cardiff Millwall Portsmouth Bristol City Barnsley Doncaster Coventry Scunthorpe
StanSP Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Some interesting teams in the Championship at the time. Look where they've all ended up: QPR Cardiff Millwall Portsmouth Bristol City Barnsley Doncaster Coventry Scunthorpe but also Watford, Swansea, Norwich and Palace (21st!) all went up. Derby and Middlesbrough also staving off relegation too.
Soar Fox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 you say that but that was one our better teams over the last ten years. The season we had a load on loan was actually good. Unlike when Sven actually signed players. I was laughing more because of how good we should have been with that team. On paper it looks like a team that should have got promoted easily. I remember us going on a great run from end of December until about end of February and I genuinely thought we would go up. We lost to someone (could have been Swansea) then after that it was all downhill from there, inconsistent results more players coming in on loan and playing even when they didn't deserve it. Remember Scunthorpe away Vitor scored 2 goals MOTM performance next game he is dropped for Bruma.
4ever and ever Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Remember that game so well. 3-2 flattered us. Norwich destroyed us and hoolahan and Holt ran us ragged all game

Just shows we must cherish these days and celebrate any success we achieve. Especially after our 2008 season in the third tier. We could still be there, or much lower if we had gone into liquidation after administration. Thank you everyone who saved us at that point, thank you Pearson for sorting the club out at our lowest point, and thank you our current owners for carrying that on to our current position. I, for one, appreciate these times after so many years of shite and heartbreak and long may it continue!

Yet they still finished 7/8th. Maybe if they'd started the season they'd of got promoted. Then where would we be now
Kitchandro Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 That was the 'must win' game of that season. We really needed the 3 points to bridge the gap between us and the play-offs. We put in an absolute powderpuff display and there were clearly players out there not trying. Meanwhile Norwich had such a great team spirit that year, with arguably a worse squad, and deservedly got promoted. Whatever happened to Andrew Crofts? He was terrific in that Norwich team, I'm sure he's somewhere in league 1 now.
Guest ttfn Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 The craziest thing is that it is less than3 (THREE) years since THAT Barnsley game.
Corky Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 The craziest thing is that it is less than3 (THREE) years since THAT Barnsley game. All of our wins subsequently have been to make up for that match.
SemperEadem Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 I was at Rotherham away on that Tuesday night when he scored a hat trick. Couldn't believe it. What a night.
promised land Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 I was at Rotherham away on that Tuesday night when he scored a hat trick. Couldn't believe it. I remember that night, dug outs on the far side of Death Valley stadium. "Let's all do the Sven wave", then he did it back! That was also the week half of east London rioted and set fire to everywhere, so a few muppets tried it in Leicester.
