foxfanazer Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Don't get me wrong, I take that point. We have been masters of bargains and signing 'rejects'. And now those rejects have made up a bloody brilliant squad it's time to add some proven talent, nothing too dramatic as nothing is really broken. That would propel us on to the next level! Also, we need a bigger squad for Europe. I don't seriously expect us to win the Champions League but we haven't ever been whipping boys so may as well give it a go. And that will require numbers.Very true
Bamba's Babes Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Salah and Florenzi. I've watched more than one Roma match...
jit Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Gyfli Sigurdsson, Ashley Williams from Swansea and Debuche from Arsenal.

We could win the Champions league and that summer people will be suggesting Steven Naismith, Shane Long and getting Lloyd Dyer back
Heisenberg Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Gyfli Sigurdsson, Ashley Williams from Swansea and Debuche from Arsenal.Williams and Mahrez?! Are you mad man?
shen Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Danny Ings, Sofiane Boufal (anticipating Mahrez leaving), Callum Wilson and even Bony. Could see all of them becoming successes here.

jit Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Williams and Mahrez?! Are you mad man? I think Mahrez unfortunely will ask to leave in the Summer. Our cleaner also cleans Williams parents house and they told her he loves Swansea but it's potentially his final chance to play at a higher level I.e CL if he can get a move. Nothing in that linking him to us but I think if we make a move would suit him and good signing for us although wages might be an issue.
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 I'd like to see us adding to the squad primarily to compete for another top 4-6 finish next season, the Champions League really is the stuff of dreams. Signing young talent from Europe (Ousmane Dembele - Rennes) is fine, but let's NOT throw big money at names unproven in the BPL. I'd rather pursue talent that is going down to the Championship or from clubs under-performing who have bought and are now looking to off-load, but no-one who demands too much in personal terms. Don't think the Villa squad has anything to offer. Norwich ? Hoolahan, Redmond and Brady. Sunderland ? Defoe. Newcastle ? Ayoze Perez. Swansea ? Andre Ayew and Gylfi Sigurdsson. Poaching from the under-achievers ? Palace ? Hennessey,Dann and Bolasie Bournemouth ? Wilson and King Watford ? Deeney & Suarez Everton ? Lukaku, Deulofeu and Funes Mori. West Brom ? Rondon, Berahino and Sessegnon. Southampton ? Tadic, Mane and the forgotten Jay Rodriguez. Stoke ? Butland Top 4-6 contenders ? (all of these presumably have personal terms way above what we would pay) Chelsea ? Terry (I hate myself for that), Oscar and Remy. Liverpool ? Ibe. West Ham ? Payet, Antonio and Kouyate (sorry Hammers)!!! Man Utd ? Mata. Man City ? Silva. Arsenal ?Gibbs, Campbell and Oxelaide-Chamberlain. Spurs ? Eriksen. Seem to have hoovered up a squad full of CONSIDERATIONS without including the gems like Aguerro, Costa etc. Above all sign players who WANT to be playing here.
ScouseFox Posted 8 March 2016 Posted 8 March 2016 Salah and Florenzi. I've watched more than one Roma match... pretty sure florenzi is lined up as the totti/de rossi replacement. he's been there since he was like 9 or something and he isn't gonna leave to play for leicester.
Alf Bentley Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Maria Sharapova Should appoint her club doctor just to wind up all these Arsenal conspiracy theorists who believe our success is due to doping.
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 What's YOUR problem ?? Come on then, who do you suggest ??
Donut Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Ruben Neves Aleksandr Dragovic Eugene Khacheridi Hakan Calhanoglu Bernardo Silva Just a few guys that ive admired throughout Europe for the last 12-18 months who would add a lot to our club.
Fox42 Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Wijnaldum, Shelvey and Mitrovic should Newcastle go down.
Donut Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Wijnaldum, Shelvey and Mitrovic should Newcastle go down. Agreed on Wijnaldum. Quality player.
FantasticMrFox&Son Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Do you actually read and assimiliate data or are you doing an impression of the Roma half-time midfield substitution ?? Roll your "R's" doing a continental accent for .....................VAINQUEUR
treer Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Wijnaldum, Shelvey and Mitrovic should Newcastle go down. tremendous, why not go the whole hog and buy a complete relegated team while we are at it, maybe swap Ranieri for McClown as well WE RE GOING BE CHAMPIONS, WE NEED TO SET OUR SIGHTS HIGH
Rincewind Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 It will be strange to hear a top class player say when asked 'So you want to play for a top British Premier League side, would that be Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City or Man Utd?' 'Oh no none of them. Zee best team iz Lestah.'
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 Troy Deeney. Proper team player, good work ethic and surprisingly humble guy.
SpinneyHillRanger Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 reus from dortmund would be good ... with pace and abiolity to cut in from the wing. also thomas muller to do andy king job and get goals from midfield
americanfox Posted 9 March 2016 Posted 9 March 2016 reus from dortmund would be good ... with pace and abiolity to cut in from the wing. also thomas muller to do andy king job and get goals from midfield Because we're MASSIVE! Bigger than Bayern! Big enough to easily pay a player £300k a week!
