Agreed, it was probably the reason people noticed he wasn't particularly on it on Monday, but you have to respect that he didn't go hiding.

I said the same to my old man at the game. He was having a mare, compared to his performances up to this point this season, but he never once shied away from having the ball and I have an incredible amount of respect for that. He knew he wasn't playing well, but he didn't go missing like some players would.

The chap who usually does the transfer deadline day stuff with a Scottish accent? Heard his voice and took me a moment to workout where he's from. It wouldn't be a replica shirt he's got and I doubt he's paid for whatever it is in the bag.
