Captain... Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 About time the club have listened... although too little too late? Good to see, although it would be interesting to know how many silver memberships have been sold.
Hollism Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 Enough to know that you aren't guaranteed a ticket by any means. Agree that it would be interesting to see how many though.
DB11 Posted 22 March 2016 Author Share Posted 22 March 2016 I wonder if you'll still have priority to renew for next season, though if the numbers stay the same that will be pointless as well
Hubert Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 I wonder if the magic number that triggered the sell-out was of memberships sold or of complaints received.
DB11 Posted 22 March 2016 Author Share Posted 22 March 2016 Hmm still allowing you to buy it on LCFC Direct though
foxer Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 Hmm still allowing you to buy it on LCFC Direct though They are still being advertised but you can't actually purchase one online. Been the same for a few weeks/months now.
Benguin Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 Got a joke, if you bought a membership over the past few weeks you basically threw your money away as tickets were sold out and your hardly going to get a ticket to Everton really. My membership last year was value for money but this year I got one ticket out of the ten I attempted to buy. There should be a fair quota which is sustainable for the entirety of the season. Benguin Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 If there is 23,000 season ticket holders and 3000 away allocation that leaves around 6000 tickets. 2k 3k and 5k seems reasonable to me respectively for gold, silver and city fox.
Stevosevic Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 I believe the clubs stance on the caps for gold and silver means that these people are guaranteed a ticket - as long as they move quick enough?
Monk Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 Sounds to me like the club have had a few complaints and decided to close it before any further bad publicity.
Monk Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 Just to add that until the Southampton and West Ham tickets went on sale I have had zero problems getting home tickets as a silver member. I'm disappointed that the club allowed this to happen - it removes much of the benefit of memberships. It'll be interesting to see what they do next season. Ultimately, we need to expand the ground. Webbo Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 I've had a silver membership for a couple of years, I hope I'll be able to renew. I wouldn't want to miss out on charity shield tickets should we get there.
m4DD0gg Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 What ever the trigger for doing this the club have done the right thing.
Stevosevic Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 I've had a silver membership the last two seasons and had no problems getting a home ticket as long as I was on the ball and online to buy when they went on sale. I hope this is still the case for the Everton game - West Ham was a slim pickings but I managed to get 2.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 Good. How they could go on selling them knowing that people could only potentially purchase for Everton was awful. Right I'm off to sign into LCFC Direct in anticipation of the carnage when it opens to Silvers members.

steveherbe Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 Does a membership help with getting away tickets? In theory yes. In practice not a hope in hell. They all get snapped up by ST holders with high priority

MattyGamble Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 I'd love to know where you all were when we couldn't sell out for a play off semi final or when we were getting 20k for derby and 24k for forest.
jonathan_ross Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 Too little too late now the flood gates of hell have opened, I still feel very let down by the club over this! I wonder how many will actually bother renewing next year if we win **** all?!
blue army 1988 Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 In theory yes. In practice not a hope in hell. They all get snapped up by ST holders with high priority I've been a season ticket holder for 15 years and whilst I've been going to the odd away game I usually work Saturday mornings. My circumstances have now changed and I want to go to more away games next season but I know I won't be a high priority person.

red5 Posted 22 March 2016 Share Posted 22 March 2016 Looks like the emails worked, I can still see many silver's disappointed though(not the new glory hunter one's). What fun it'll be when they release the Everton tickets to silver
