Ashley Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 125 Points seems very low for the starting day of sales for Chelsea away, I'm sure I started on something like 142 points at the start of this season. Everyone gets a point each game so there will be god knows how many people that will be able to purchase tickets for Chelsea?? http://mobile.lcfc.com/news/article/chelsea-tickets-on-sale-next-thursday-3058778.aspx

Everyone else can forget it.

I've just checked and I'm currently on 164 points, 39 points more than the tickets go on sale for equivalent to what 2 seasons worth of away games... seriously worried I won't get a ticket for Chelsea...

Soar Fox Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 The amount of corruption that goes on at the ticket office only the people on the away scheme are guaranteed a ticket. I wouldn't at all be surprised if this sold out early morning on P1.
City Fan Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 I can't see this being as popular as the Man Utd game, as surely the season will be over by then, and the trophy already presented?

I wouldn't at all be surprised if this sold out early morning on P1. especially with the rumour that all staff are getting a ticket. with their last tax return showing an employment level of around 500 thats 1/6th of the tickets gone. how many away priority do we have?

Everyone gets a point each game so there will be god knows how many people that will be able to purchase tickets for Chelsea?? http://mobile.lcfc.com/news/article/chelsea-tickets-on-sale-next-thursday-3058778.aspx We queried the low total at the start of the season, 25 points was make able from the championship season alone, then 19 last year and now 18 this year, the club say they see no reason to increase the bands as people over 125 should get tickets for all games, however I don't think they factored in the rolling total meaning with every game more people are creeping past 125. Now I know the tickets will still go to the same people even if they up the brackets, but it would spread out the sales and stop the mad rush, but they argue they only have a short period of time to sell. If this doesn't make it to P2 then we know a serious amount have gone missing. But P2 will have the same mad scramble as they did for OT.
Bayfox Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 especially with the rumour that all staff are getting a ticket. with their last tax return showing an employment level of around 500 thats 1/6th of the tickets gone. how many away priority do we have? away scheme is believed to be between 500 and 800, it was actually about 500 more last season but a lot of people came off it, so they could choose seats instead of just being allocated. if they dish out 500 to staff you are looking at over a 3rd of the allocation gone before they actual go on sale.
Fox92 Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 especially with the rumour that all staff are getting a ticket. with their last tax return showing an employment level of around 500 thats 1/6th of the tickets gone. how many away priority do we have? Do all staff actually support the club? Four staff members were stood in front of me at Sunderland on Sunday. One of them even had the staff tag around her neck.

People in boxes and corporates get 4 reserved for each game if they want them, players will probably get what they want ticket wise.
Fox92 Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 It's all shocking. Reserved tickets for staff, corporate boxes and players. We're fans at the end of the day. They should use the same system as the rest of us should they want to go to an away game. And that's coming from me, P1. Those who are P2 or less have no chance.
Bayfox Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Do all staff actually support the club? Four staff members were stood in front of me at Sunderland on Sunday. One of them even had the staff tag around her neck. If they steward on the coaches for the away games they get tickets. See the same staff faces at most aways.

ramboacdc Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 this is the declared staff level end of season 2015. i may have read it wrong it could be anything from between 150 to 600 depending who get them.

Absolutely no way would the 'casual staff' get one. "Oh thanks for being incompetent at selling burgers and not acting like you give a shit all year, here's a free ticket to see us take the trophy out of Roman's hands". Surely?
m4DD0gg Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Let's face it for all the good our club does the ticket office is a mess. Club need to facilitate some sort of investigation post season.
BrummieFOX Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Tickets go on sale at 9am both days so P2 won't have the option at midnight.
Bayfox Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Absolutely no way would the 'casual staff' get one. "Oh thanks for being incompetent at selling burgers and not acting like you give a shit all year, here's a free ticket to see us take the trophy out of Roman's hands". Surely? The catering staff, can't be classed as employees of the club surely, I thought the whole issue with the catering was Mad Mandy franchised it out. The clearing contract is now also sub contracted, I would imagine looking at the above figures of 155 admin, would be closer to the truth, marketing and sales side of things etc, ground staff that sort of thing.
Bayfox Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 Tickets go on sale at 9am both days so P2 won't have the option at midnight. I wouldn't take that as gospel, several times this season it's been online, before it should have been, even when it's meant to have been 9am.

Of course the club are going to give players and corporate boxes the option to purchase away tickets, how is that shocking? Staff, I'm not so sure... I suppose it depends who they are and what they contribute
baylisslcfc Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 This should make it to the P2 scramble. If not then the club will have a lot of answering to do. I know a few P1s who are having to wait until P2 to get tickets to wait for family and friends to get seats together; this could reduce the number on the first sale period.
Gerard Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 - Supporters purchasing tickets for the Chelsea fixture in the City Fanstore MUST bring their season card with them I've had a reference number since October because the guy I got it off is in the RAF and was stationed to Cyprus. Does this mean they won't sell me one even though I've been every away game since then and it's been fine?
Callabinho Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 I'm at P2 and I've missed out on Sunderland and United....
Bayfox Posted 14 April 2016 Posted 14 April 2016 This should make it to the P2 scramble. If not then the club will have a lot of answering to do. I know a few P1s who hare having to wait until P2 to get tickets to wait for family and friends to get seats together; this could reduce the number on the first sale period. No way I would be risking that. As Man Utd sold out on P2 they risk not getting tickets at all.
