Chelsea selling arrangements?

away scheme is believed to be between 500 and 800, it was actually about 500 more last season but a lot of people came off it, so they could choose seats instead of just being allocated.

if they dish out 500 to staff you are looking at over a 3rd of the allocation gone before they actual go on sale.

Away scheme is 500 give or take a few, chap who sorts it all out told me this last season, P1 as a whole with these is 1900.

I would imagine the "casual" staff are programme sellers, stewards, car park attendant etc rather than the catering guys (who are employed by a sub contractor).

Many years ago (around 1990) I used to flog the LCFC scratchcards and I could get two "comp" tickets every match and more if I needed them (which I didn't because we were crap!

People in boxes and corporates get 4 reserved for each game if they want them, players will probably get what they want ticket wise.

As well as hundreds being held back for sponsors and friends of the owners.

- Supporters purchasing tickets for the Chelsea fixture in the City Fanstore MUST bring their season card with them

I've had a reference number since October because the guy I got it off is in the RAF and was stationed to Cyprus. Does this mean they won't sell me one even though I've been every away game since then and it's been fine?

Unless you have a season ticket to match the reference no you won't be able to buy a ticket

Only way around it is to get another p1 person to register the RAF guys details on there friends and family and buy you a ticket when they buy one

No you wont, because you've been paying to keep his priority high.

No way I would be risking that. As Man Utd sold out on P2 they risk not getting tickets at all.

You can understand why they'd wait; I can't imagine it's great going on your own. However as you mentioned you do of course run that risk of not going at all. It's all about weighing up your priorities I guess. Are you there solely for Leicester, or are you there for the experience with your friends too? It's certainly tough one, and I'm not sure what I'd do if I was in that position.

I guess if it means your on your own, then maybe not, however, if they get tickets you can still travel together and from the last few aways we have shoe horned a few extras into our row.

What's the worst that happens, if you don't want to go alone, sell your ticket.

The catering staff, can't be classed as employees of the club surely, I thought the whole issue with the catering was Mad Mandy franchised it out.

The clearing contract is now also sub contracted, I would imagine looking at the above figures of 155 admin, would be closer to the truth, marketing and sales side of things etc, ground staff that sort of thing.

club shop?

Only boxes I think

I know someone who pays highest corporate seats (non box) and there area few allocated away seats each game which sell out quickly.

True, but you can understand people's caution. Thankfully I'm not in that position myself; I just hope there's no great ticket fiasco as there normally is at this point in the season.

I'm hoping to get in behind enemy lines, anything just to be there when they form that guard of honour. I've a few chelsea fans i know, so fingers crossed. I'm sure i won't be alone in there.

I've bought tickets in Shed End Lower as close to the away end as I could, and hopefully I can sneak in (I'm flying in from US, and I don't want to sit on my hands all match)!

I can tell you right now none of the staff have been offered Chelsea tickets, neither are they going to

Some of the staff get season tickets at the start of the season, they don't get offered matchday tickets for free though

Should have done it 1960s style, buy a ticket at the other end of the ground and just before kick off run across the pitch and dive in our end  lol

Let's face it for all the good our club does the ticket office is a mess.

Club need to facilitate some sort of investigation post season.

This - Club needs to seriously look into the ticket points system and selling arrangements for next season.

This isn't going to get past P1 is it?

I dread to think how many of these tickets will enter the ticket office and not go back over the counter.
