Dr The Singh Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 How costly will that decision turn out to be??????
Finnaldo Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Dive? Went down under pressure and had a right to go down.
Dodgy Bob Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Was a foul for me but Vardy made a meal of it unnecessarily. Should have been a penalty with a word in Vardy's ear. Extra frustrating because Moss only booked him 1st half because he'd lost control of the game. Moss has made a mess of this game, he's just nowhere near good enough for a big game like this.
foxes21 Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 If Bournemouth can hold out for half hour with 10 men. I'm sure we can!!!
Fridgechef Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Can these sort of things be rescinded or is that just straight reds? Nope, just straight reds...
Aus Fox Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Vardy deliberately initiated the contact... Ref got it right. [/quote But there is contact regardless of who initiated it. So he got it wrong, maybe don't give the penalty, but certainly not a booking.
bovril Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Dive? Went down under pressure and had a right to go down. There is no rule stipulating you have a 'right' to go down. You are either brought down illegally or you dive.
Ozwin Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 He's tried to get in front of his man. Like you would anywhere on the pitch and gets clipped. Sure he goes down a bit theatrically but it's not exactly a dive. Not a yellow card anyway. Knew the ref would be a deciding factor in this game after it was changed the other day.
The Doctor Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Vardy deliberately initiated the contact... Ref got it right. There's a nudge on him before. Not a foul but not really a dive. A sensible ref signals for a goal kick and tells Vardy to get up.
benpicko Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Actually couldn't have made the dive any more blatant either, and could have just kept running and actually got fouled wtf
The Doctor Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Can we contest that decision? Two yellows so no.
Amin Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 After the seasons he's had, I hope this isn't going to be a turning point.
Bryn Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 Think we stand a good chance of getting that overturned. Edit: Didn't realise we couldn't appeal.
AKCJ Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 He could quite easily have given the goal kick and nobody would have thought twice. I just hate how referees can't help but influence every game.
Dr The Singh Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 He could quite easily have given the goal kick and nobody would have thought twice. I just hate how referees can't help but influence every game. That would be the right decision
EGBFitness Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 After the seasons he's had, I hope this isn't going to be a turning point. What kind of BS is that supposed to mean!?
Finnaldo Posted 17 April 2016 Posted 17 April 2016 There is no rule stipulating you have a 'right' to go down. You are either brought down illegally or you dive. Well getting barged off the ball with a foot in as well would probably make you go down, regardless how he did.
