Leicester City v West Ham match thread

Good half, The back 4 looks dominant! Kante everywhere, Mahrez looks up for it and ready to party.

Drinky a little below par, lots of stray passes,

West ham not out of this, looking good, very physical.

Can't see this finishing 11 v 11

So, are we saying West Ham are doing a good job on Mahrez again or is he blowing hot and cold once more?

I've seen one or two good skills with the ball on the halfway line and of course the pass on the counter to Kanté that led to Vardy's goal. Other than that, he has been rather quiet so far.

Opinions, please...

I think he is having a good game so far as unlike last week he is passing the ball when he is surrounded and his movement is alot better, plus his tracking back has been the best I have seen from him for a while

Great half of football. Lucky as **** with that first chance of theirs, though a great save from Schmeichel. Then a fantastic end=to-end goal for us. Loving it.

On a sidenote, I think our defending has been outstanding in the first half (Morgan and Huth on Emenike in particular, Fuchs on Antonio, Simpson on Payet) and all players are tracking back as much as they can.

I think mahrez is having a decent game and cresswell is a decent fullback.

Think you've got the Old Firm match on by mistake. Mahrez has been really involved.

Riyad and Shinji are both getting roughed up which isn't helping, Riyad can and will probably do something special in the second half.

16 of 19 teams vardy's scored against now. Record's 17 which he can match with a goal vs Swansea.

And then break it at home against Everton!

a shot that hits the post twice is lucky.

No. It's unlucky for them that it didn't go in. It was a great save by Schmeichel that stopped it going in. No luck involved from our side

They double or triple on him, giving him not enough room to break through, yet he seems to always manage to get the ball to strategic areas.

If Drinkwater gets on his wavelength, we will tear them a new one in the second half.

Coincidentally, I do have both games on simultaneously. :D

it was a good save but anytime the ball hits each post thats very lucky it isn't 1-0

My heart really can't stand too much more of this... It's purgatory!!

Pressure's on Spurs, relax.

The ref's been a bit card happy.

I think all yellows so far have been deserved. Vardy's seemed 50/50 to me.
